I keep pinching myself but I don’t seem to wake up…

Never in my wildest dreams have I imagined that I would be able to see Old Trafford from my bed in my lifetime. Being a huge Manchester United fan, the view is just incredible. Forever grateful for Josh for initially thinking this would be the ideal apartment for me after considering my interest in the Summer. Everyone is so kind and made me feel welcomed since my November move in date. Facilities are incredible as well, I am writing this review from the beautiful and cosy coworking space. Cannot wait for the gym to be opened soon. My fiancée said the other day that whenever she enters the building, she feels like she entered the reception of a hotel – she’s not wrong. The smell is so nice throughout the communal areas. It has been just under a week since we moved in but it is still hard to believe that we are not dreaming.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The building is perfectly well connected transport wise – Metrolink stop is only a few steps away. There is a Sainsbury’s Local and a Tesco just a few minutes walk from the building. The surrounding area is safe and clean, the Quays are beautiful, a great place for a short walk. The Lowry outlet is very near as well with a couple of restaurants.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew how good our bed would be before viewing the flat before it was furnished – I would have been even more excited to move in 😀

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There have not been any issues yet, but Josh and the rest of the team are always on hand.

affordable luxury living!

The quality and facilities of Eda are incredible for the price. The flats, the facilities and the staff could not be praised higher. Nicole on the front desk in particular has gone the extra mile to help us settle in, fix problems and feel at home in a new building.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Media city is incredible, there couldn’t be an easier more pleasant place to live so close to the city. It’s remarkably peaceful for such an urban area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

the flat showing was very thorough, so I was well aware of everything on offer before I moved here

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

we’ve only had a couple of problems, both of which were sorted within hours of making a request, including replacing an entire heating unit same day.

The Garden of EDA

the building internal design is open plan, modern but also has very home like feature like the electric fireplaces and plush carpet.

the 2nd floor and 19th floor terrace are incredible for views of the city, old Trafford football stadium and the water side. in summer time this is really when this feature will be best utilised.

the gym leaves nothing to want – very modern and even has a spinning room for classes and HIIT sessions

not to forget the private dinning suite great for hosting birthdays and events, the cinema room to relax or even play a game of fifa or 2 and the games room to unwind with friends

finally the staff are all extremely helpful, friendly and always brighten up your day when coming home or leaving for work with a happy smile

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Right on the edge of media city we have links to all the great leisure activities, bars, restaurants and local clubs such as made running every Saturday with around 300 people showing up to run a 5k around the city.

bus and tram links on the doorstep – parking is a 3 minute walk so you might call this negative but its great to get some fresh air to start the day

clean environment all around being in a modern development everyone respects the local area

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

the process was very clear and we knew exactly what to expect and even then its still been better than we thought

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

any issue has been dealt with same-day and the building app allows us to report instantly

There’s no place like Eda

The building’s design and amenities are exceptional. We have access to a private dining area, gym, shared office space, and two little gardens where I can relax with my dog.
The skilled, helpful, and attentive management team significantly improves the quality of life here, shout out to Steve and Nicole! Finally, a landlord/rental agent that genuinely cares and answer the phone (or meet with you in person) to get things done.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Between Salford Quays and Manchester City, Eda is in a prime location, and the building has a tram stop in front of the building that allows for quick access to all parts of the city. As someone who does not own a car, there are also many local amenities available, such as convenience shop, shopping centre, food court, movie theatre, and indoor market. I could not imagine living in a nicer neighbourhood.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Stop looking around, this is the one!
This is the best experience we have had thus far after three months of viewings and phone conversations with letting agents (if they ever picked up the phone). We are excited to spend the next few years calling this place home, you won’t regret your choice.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Working with the management team was such a pleasure. Special thanks to Steve and Nicole, who made finding a place to live and relocate in Manchester so enjoyable.
– Steve was very helpful in calming us down during this very stressful time by helping us work through all the application glitches.
– Our initial moving days were smooth sailing thanks to Nicole at the front desk. She is friendly and very kind, and she consistently makes herself available to support our needs. Not only can she speak five languages, but she’s also excellent with dogs! What more is there to ask?
