Welcome to Erie Dock Apartments, or Eda for short. Where life's less complicated, from parcel signing to private dining, workplace to WiFi, it’s all sorted for you. All Eda's furnished apartments include king size beds with ottoman storage, corner sofas and TV units to name a few. With floor to ceiling windows looking out over the Quays and Manchester skyline, Eda’s apartments are bright and spacious with open plan living areas. Each apartment has a modern fully fitted kitchen with utility storage, spacious bedrooms with bespoke designed fitted wardrobes and bathrooms all finished to the high standard of Eda. It doesn’t stop there - you can even bring your pet at no extra cost! Eda sits at the top of Erie Dock in the heart of Salford Quays. With paddle boarders, kayakers and an occasional brave swimmer, this is where the city meets the open water. As you follow the dock, you’ll find The Lowry Theatre, Imperial War Museum and Media City UK. And with shops, restaurants, cafes and bars within easy walking distance (and a tram stop right outside the door), you’ll be well connected to Salford, Manchester and beyond. You can get from sofa to city in just 15 minutes.

We have been in Eda for just over a week and we have found absolutely nothing to complain about - we love it. The building has everything you would need/want (social areas, garden spaces, gym, private cinema room) all which have been finished to a high standard. We are looking forward to seeing the gym completed soon. The management team here are amazing, we’ve had great communication and feel like they’re on hand to help with anything no matter how big or small. We can’t thank them enough for making the move so easy for us.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Eda is a such a great location! It is a very short walk to media city where there are lots of bars and restaurants to enjoy or a perfect place for a walk around. You have everything you need right on your doorstep, but if you find you want to explore more of the city there is a tram stop right outside which is extremely convenient.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We haven’t had any problems so far, however there is a resident app to report any issues.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We were very pleased that the pictures online presented EDA exactly as it is, if anything the apartment spaces are bigger in person!

EDA has made our moving experience to a new country and city more enjoyable & less stressful. The building itself, is beautifully decorated and designed making our apartment feel like a home. The interior finishings and furniture provided is comfortable and of high quality. With an abundance of facilities to use and choose from, EDA has it all. On typical Manchester days when it’s hard to leave the house, you don’t have to go far to feel like you’ve left your home, and done something. The communal spaces have provided some genuine connections between neighbours (new and old) and the pet friendly environment has provided our son who lives in a no pet house to have fun play afternoons with the friendly animals in the building. Property Management from our application process, the viewing, moving in and now living here - have always gone above and beyond to make our experience with moving from a different country - stress free and comfortable. The number of social opportunities and small gestures to all tenants are thoughtful & appreciated beyond measure - examples of this is providing health shots for wellness month, organising yoga-laties every fortnight, hosting family friendly roof top events to meet other neighbours, and hosting and facilitating a monthly book club event. Eda isn’t just our new home, it’s become a community that we didn’t know existed & we’re loving being a part of it.

Situated in the heart of Salford Quays without the hustle and bustle, makes this spot amazing. A small stroll to media city, and a throw stone away from our local coffee shop and market in Anchorage, gives this location 5 stars. Public transportation is easily accessible, with the tram station literally at your door step, and the train station only a couple of 2kms down the road has made it so convenient for friends and family to visit! Situated on the cusp of the main city of Manchester but between motorways makes it easy to get around Greater Manchester without the congestion and traffic, other areas experience. I feel safe and secure and find the local community friendly.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Amazing! Very prompt with fixing issues and always following up on the work if needed

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking - which isn’t the buildings fault, just didn’t realise the parking location. Grateful though for acquiring a car parking spot.

Amazing property, modern furniture and amenities in the building. Great place for pet owners. Have got a dedicated work space and leisure rooms. The design of the entire building is very new and fresh and chic. Amazing and attentive staff. Special shout out to Ade from Eda. Lovely lad!

I can only point out the good aspects. Tram stop and bus stop is nearby, area is quite peaceful with quays water and media city within 10 mins walking distance. Love the locality

Very well responded and rectified any and every issue that arose

Check all the lights, fitting and fixtures and take snaps of everything on your first move in date

Eda is so easy to settle in due to the friendly staff friendly residents/neighbours , everybody is super helpful and just yeah it makes it really easy to start living here! love the gym , clean and everything you need is their , ive never experienced it to be too busy which is great - and the exact same for the co working space

duper dog friendly , good amount of local coffees shops and places to eat and drink, not yet used the transportation links but very close by

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

we had a slight flooding issue due to an issue with the bathtub and this was communicated really well and got fixed promptly - responded right away and got fixed in really decent time!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

the communication prior was amazing as we weren't able to view before we moved but everything was transparent.
