Country and Metropolitan Plc Reviews

“The value for money is quite good for the size of the apartment. We have only lived here 6 months and so far we haven’t had any issues with the apartment. Our apartment comes with underfloor heating and air conditioning which is great as being by the water can be difficult to regulate the temperature. We also have an open plan kitchen and the living space has a balcony that overlooks the water. The apartment comes with a parking space and visitor parking bays have to be requested 24 hours before which can be a bit of a pain but its almost always cleared. We also have a 24 hour concierge.” – Sep, a verified resident at Royal Quay

Nice

I am very satisfied with the design and build quality of the development and my flat. It came with all the amenities that I needed and I have never had any issues that I needed to raise with building management. However a downside is sometimes the courtyard is not well kept so that can be a buildup of litter and gravel can be quite messy.

Nice place for a first time buyer

I really dislike the airplanes noise that is frequently though not at nights and on Sundays. There is double glazing which helps it a little. There’s a lack of green space here though. There’s not much to do around here so it might not be the best place for young couples. There’s only the dlr here.

I wish they added more green space and possibly a restaurant to start with.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I like the communitube that is now forming as there’s really nice things being held around here such as these art events

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I would’ve known how long it takes to get to the city. It still takes kind of long

Are there any facilities you would like added, or that you have but do not use:

I wish they added more green space and possibly a restaurant to start with.

I love the area it’s perfect

There isn’t too much trouble in this area which is really nice, there’s not much drug use or other anti social problems. I dislike nothing about the area and I’m very happy with where I life. I feel safe in my flat because I have a good concierge who looks after me. There’s also a sense of community as we have a WhatsApp chat that we talk on.

The view of the Thames is definitely my favourite thing about living here.
