Great place to live….

Good design variety and nice interconnect with nature with plenty of part area, trees and wildlife given good consideration. All the facilities you need in properties and really friendly community. Overall very quiet for a large development and looking forward to school, hub, local store and new pub all being completed over the next two years.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Lovely small high street, with all your essentials, good pubs and close to transport links. Development still ongoing but will be finished and all amenities within a couple of years. Lots of bars and restaurants within short distance as well as shops and great outdoor activities.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That’s home facilities which are part of the development have taken longer than expected to complete…all coming but would have been nice sooner.

What is the best feature of your home:

High ceilings and balcony/deck to maximise evening sunshine.

Nice area and development

I like the apartment but Cala homes were very bad as a developer. When we first arrived there were holes in the ceiling and it was filthy. They were averagely good at responding and fixing things. I love the design though – we designed it ourselves so that was great. The apartment is very spacious and we even have 9ft ceilings. The community in the development is nice and friendly. The area/development is relatively safe – there have been several incidents with a guy on a mope head robbing residents though. This area used to be quite unsafe and run-down but it has been massively gentrified recently. There are two really nice parks at the development which I enjoy using. In terms of parking, every resident gets one space in a locked garage underground. There is no parking for visitors though which is a bit of a nightmare.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I like that there’s a tube really nearby. They are also building lots of shops and restaurants very close to the development so that will be great. It’s very green and it doesn’t feel like you’re in London which I really like. I dislike that currently the nearest supermarket is Waitrose though!

Lovely Development. Would Reccomend.

I have been living here for a couple of years and i love the area. There are plenty of shops nearby including supermarkets and convenience stores. I love the designs of the whole developments as it really fits in together. All the neighbours living here are lovely . The area is also very safe at night making it easy to go out for a jog any time of the day.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The only dislike for this area is the surrounding area of hilton as it can be quite loud at night.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing i would have known is that there are often fireworks going off somehwhere nearby and it can be a bit disturbing at night.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best area of my home is definitely the kitchen as it is beautifully designed.

Very nice place to live

The CALA team have been extremely helpful through the buying process and after moving in, providing help and sorting the small snags that the property has. The houses look very nice, following a pattern that make them look as a neighbourhood. Some of the design inside the house could be improved, as there are a number of corners that cannot be used efficiently due to the layout. Nevertheless, the overall quality is very good.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The development is within Kingsmere, which has a ‘centre’ with a small co-op, take away restaurants, and a community centre. There are also sports fields, children play areas, and a small business park. The area does not have that ouch green at the moment, but hopefully it will be moren noticeable once the trees grow.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Be active introducing yourself to your neighbours. In new built developments everyone is new and most people are open to making new friends or acquaintances.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

The design. I would make sure the space is latex out to maximise efficiency.
