About Wise Living
Wise Living provides high-quality, purpose-built family housing for the private rental market.
The design of Ingram park is excellent I like the way the houses were planned, the numberings are not confusing. I love the fact that parking is available and the gardens are quite big. There’s enough space for kids to play, summer would be lovely if you are into barbecue and partying. The living room is large and spacious. As regards property management the response is great. Every time I have had issues the response has been timely and efficient. The design of the house is very modern with modern facilities as well
ASDA is just about 4 minutes drive away and Tesco is about 10 minutes drive. There is a bar close by which you can easily walk to to have a couple beers. There is a pizza and fish and chips shop nearby as well. Bin collections is quite good, however needs to be put out in the appropriate place at the appropriate time for it to be collected. As regards traffic noise or antisocial behavior, it is non existent. It’s a very calm environment.
I wish I had known the rooms did not have any wardrobes in them.
They have responded promptly and swiftly. They have even raised up issues I didn’t take note of and fixed it.
Street is designed well, but properties need some work. Constant struggles with the estate agent to rectify shoddy building work.
Facilities aren’t cleaned regularly and bin stores are left a mess.
Advised agency of antisocial behaviour in the area in December 2022, was told CCTV was to be fit in January, but as we almost enter April this has not been done.
Antisocial behaviour is prominent here and I’m certain some neighbours were not screened prior to moving in. Numerous occasions police have had to visit the street. Bin collection is hit or miss. When there is a football match locally or during school pick-up times, it is almost impossible to access the street.
Was told we had to pay a deposit before viewing the property which was a massive let down. Had to convince the builders to let me on site to take a quick look through the window.
Building management have responded to faults but often takes a while to resolve them.
Design facilities are ok other than the houses do not have gardens/ one block of apartments have communal bench area but other apartment block doesn’t. Parking isn’t great. Building management is well maintained by Damian however the property management is very very poor. Awful communication takes months for repairs to be resolved, everything is passed off as Keon Homes are not responding, never receive promised calls back so end up ringing over & over & have to complain before anything can be done.
Good connection to local transport routes/town shops etc.
Parking is not convenient most parking spaces are outside another persons property & you have to display a permit to park in your own space & have the car registered for any guests so if this is a random visit from a friend/ family on a weekend there is no where to park as you can’t ring & register over the weekend.
Always other people’s rubbish left on the floor in the bin storage area & outside of it feel sorry for the houses located next to the bin storage areas.
Cameras installed with no notice to tenants/ doors on apartment blocks never full shut so anyone can just walk in & out the apartment blocks.
The reviews online/google speak for themselves wish this had been taken into consideration more before moving in as they speak for themselves.
Very poorly – Repairs take weeks & even months to be rectified nothings but issues since moving in, communication has been awful passed left right and centre and no one wants to take any ownership.
The design of the building is clever making use of all the spaces available. The closeness to the next plot has meant that I have fewer windows than I would have liked. Having the bedroom on the ground floor is not ideal as I do not feel safe enough to open my windows at night which would be my preference. The central heating is not adequate downstairs. The radiators heat upstairs but due to the layout of the piping, do not heat up sufficiently downstairs. Larger radiators or piping would would an improvement. Contact with property management has been regular however when asked about the heating, I was told simply to bleed the radiators which was not sufficient assistance.
Locality is perfect. Walking distance to Mansfield Town. 2 Aldi supermarkets very close by and local petrol stations are easy to get to. Close proximity to Royal mail delivery office has proved to be very helpful! Bus and train stations also within walking distance. Parking is good I have no trouble with finding a space outside my home. Bin collections are successful and regular with no issues. Little noisy due to the police station around the corner with sirens but that is expected and not a nuisance. No anti social behaviour that I have witnessed.
I wish I had known that I wouldn’t have access to the loft storage space.
I would prefer the price of the rent to reflect the size of the house.
