WestCity Reviews

“The flat is lovely. I got a great view of the London Eye from my balcony which is amazing. The flat is modern, and the space is alright for London. Not too spacious but just as any flat in central. The underground parking is brilliant, and it is included with the flat. Traffic is the only bad thing I could think of. Building management has been great and we got a lovely concierge.” – Anonymous, Verified resident at West End Quay

Lovely apartment

Very nice apartment. Perfect environment. Very new and modern, and quite cosy. Not too spacious but its London. Balcony but view is not the best because it looks to the back. Neighbours throw rubbish or with the wind it just manages to get into our balcony.
Management is very good, and there is a guard all the time. It feels very safe. There are regular activities as yoga in the area, which is great for residents.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The area is very good and convenient. There are stores everywhere as m&s and co-op. The best point is accessibility, especially because of the trains.
The only bad thing is there are not too many asian cuisine restaurants.
The canal nearby is very nice and refreshing. It is ideal to go and rest there or just walk around.
It feels quite safe compared to other areas because it is so busy.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We knew everything before moving in so there wasnt any problems.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management has always responded very promptly.

Well built and well managed property, I love it

It is well built and well managed property. In terms of facilities, we have doorman, elevators and parking. There is 1 space per flat. If you want more spaces, you can ask and pay extra for it. It is very safe, we have gates and they close them at night. In my flat, I have a lovely balcony.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I like the area because there are a lot of cool places to go to. It is clean as well. A downside is that it gets quite noisy on the main street.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known that my balcony wouldn’t be facing the garden. I hear all the noise coming from the main street.

What is the best feature of your home:

My doorman is the best feature of my home! I love this guy!

Really nice

The staff are super friendly. The place is kept really clean. It feels very safe and secure. It’s all new and working well. The flat has a balcony with a great view, we spend lots of time enjoying it. Great modern design.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Very central, near the canal, close to Paddington.
Not much of a community though, and it can get very busy.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There’s nothing I can think of. It’s my boyfriend’s flat so he chose it.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management are great, any problems and you call them up and they deal with it.

Great experience living here

The flats are too small, there is no weekly cleaning service despite of the fact that the rooms resemble hotel rooms. The service charge is quite high too and it is an expensive place overall. A perk is that it looks great inside and it is modern.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Paddington is a great area, close to all shops and many facilties. It is well connected too, we use taxis, buses and the train to move around.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew the landlord wouldn’t be changing the card everytime someone new is moving in. As it is now, I don’t feel safe.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

I would make the flat bigger, it is too small as it is and there is not enough space.
