The property management should be revolutionised and the top management should be held accountable.

The interior facilities such as furniture and kitchen ware are nice. However, the building management and maintenance are very poor. Instead of offering professional support, the management team makes people feel like they are too naive and unsympathetic to manage and understand the needs and frustration of tenants.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Doors can be opened by strangers who have keys to enter. Copy keys exists which fatally undermines the security of living.

Unknown horrifying alarm sound from within the flat is made for no reason.

Bin collection is badly designed and organised.

Lifts are always out of order.

Reception doesn’t offer any help in parcel delivery & collection.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew how inefficient and problematic the property management team is before moving in. I wish I knew flat doors can be opened by strangers. I wish I knew the reception is dysfunctional beforehand.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very bureaucratic manner and slow response. The support ticket system provided by the app doesn’t work at all. The only thing they do efficiently is organise food & snack events which only enhance the frustration of tenants as their problems of parcel collection, bin collection and unauthorised entry to flats are not solved.

Well presented flats with a high price to pay/Ideal for short stays

It’s a nice complex of flats which are well maintained in good condition. Wooden floor with underneath heating adjustable to you preference. Hot water 24/7. you can request the flat furnished or unfurnished. Noise level is relatively low. Really warm throughout winter, it can get hot during summer (of course 2022 was an extreme scenario). Covered parking which is charged extra. Also, bike racks where you can leave your bike protected from the elements. Management is attentive, cleaning the facilities on regular basis and sending informative emails regarding any maintenance. However, renewal is coming with a big jump on renting price, this time without including any bills (initially all inclusive) having just to pay separately council tax.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

There is a big Tesco Extra which is 7 minutes walk. A couple of restaurants nearby but nothing fancy that will attract people. The closest pubs are approximately 10-15 minutes walk towards Brentford. Sky studios are in close proximity to Tesco. Heathrow is 20mins away by car or 30 minutes with a combination of bus and tube.
Only one bus (H91) available heading towards Hammersmith through Chiswick. Tube station (Osterley or Boston Manor) 20minutes walk. Syon Lane Train Station just 7 minutes walk, with trains every 30 minutes towards Waterloo.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I was told that a gym (free to use) will open at the end of 2021. October 2022 and that still hasn’t come into effect, therefore missing one of the important perks.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building has showcased good response time regarding a few issues that might come up.

Not as expected unfortunately

The layout of my apartment is good however when i moved in over a year ago now there was a broken window a damaged floor, leaks and till this day these have not been fixed or “fixed” by welding the window shut so now it can’t open which took me a year. So the management of the building is terrible and actually the worst i have ever been in.

I have also had packages stolen and there is never anyone in the office. When you call Vonder you also cant get through not even the emergency line when my fire alarm went off at 5am. It took me 3 hours to get a hold of someone. If that wasn’t bad enough I had bills included in my contract so if you go over the normal usage you pay that which makes sense.

However they have now sent me a bill for all of last year saying i went over the limit. I completed that contract so its very odd that they would not let you know for an entire year and then give me a week to pay it. I have reached out to them and of course no reply. Its been 3 days now. I don’t like writing bad reviews but this is simply too much.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The area is nice despite being right by a busy road you do not get disturbed by too much noise and there are nice parks and walking areas around as well as canals.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

that they would send me a bill for electricity for all of 2022 and till March 2023 only 3 days ago with no prior warning and no meter readings available

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

no, I still have leaks and my window was not fixed for a year meaning i had to put the heating higher then usual which they are now trying to bill me for. In addition to this summer is coming and i now can’t open it as they “fixed it”

Living nightmare

The building used to look very nice but in the 3 years it has been damaged and is looking very shabby. The water damage from a massive flood has not been repaired and the lobby tiles are damaged. The community spaces are dismal and badly designed. Feel embarrassed to bring people back now. Concierge are usually pretty good but again quality has reduced significantly. Often don’t bother to open the doors for you, are absent from the desk. Security are often found asleep or on their phones watching movies.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Archway is a great place to be overall. Great range of shops, hill house is above an M&S food hall, there’s also coop, Sainsburys, Aldi, Tesco all within walking distance. Big leisure centre right next door. Can be very noisy and a bit scary at night, however, we’ve never actually been harmed by anyone in the 3 years we’ve lived here.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Vonder are scam artists. You have to fight for everything, they will try to take your money. They will not answer your emails or calls

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They almost always ignore emails – even about urgent and important things or just ignore parts of your emails entirely. Their emails are rude and disrespectful, they treat us with contempt. They have caused us enormous distress over the years. We keep telling ourselves the drama is over but it really never is with Vonder. Scam artists
