Better than expected!

The development is very nice. Very good quality finishing and furnished , which it came partly. Kitchen and bathroom is amazing, all high quality stuff!. No issues at all moving in. There’s a swimming pool and spa coming soon, and the concierge, Furqaan is excellent with whatever I need

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The area is very good for me, I work on Victoria so it’s very close by. It’s also very peaceful, one of the most peaceful and safe areasetting in central London. I was hoping for the north and line extension to be finished

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

None at all, we done our research on the development and no surprises came up

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management are very fastrong to respond to issues. We haven’t even noticed an issue with the showered tap and they notified and fixEd it for us.

High quality development on the edge of the north London niceness

Communal grounds are very well maintained and very lush, I imagine the more buildings complete, the warmer and less sterile those areas shall become. Everything is built and maintained to a very high standard. The common area in the building are adorned with very tasteful carpets and finishes and have very appropriate artwork strewn about all floors so it feels more like a nice hotel than a utilitarian apartment building. I absolutely love the fittings and finishings in my apartment and its layout. Interior choices ooze high class and dedication to quality and good taste. However it’s a bit of a cringe move to have all of the “hidden” white goods be Beko (like the fridge and the dishwasher), whereas anything that you can see is Bosch (like the oven and the induction stove) The treatment I have been given by St William is above and beyond nice. I feel very safe in my building with three layers of security. However it backfires whenever you have a delivery or a guest come in – the system for getting people up to your floor is seriously flawed and not fool-proof. A lot of problems arise though from the fact that some buildings are mixed management buildings – some apartments being serviced by POD management (tenants bought from St William) and some apartments being serviced by L&Q (shared ownership tenants) – there needs to be better communication between the two entities.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Let’s start with the bad – Wood Green and Turnpike Lane are not the most attractive areas; but they offer fair commute options. Still, the 10 minute walk from the development to the station is frankly exhausting. I also wish there were nicer shops around and a good coffee place on the way to Turnpike Lane station. But hopefully the amount of new type tenants the area is seeing will usher in gentrification akin to what Stoke Newington has enjoyed. Bin collections are not frequent enough but I suspect it’s the council’s fault and building management is putting pressure on them to remedy that. The area in immediate vicinity of the development is also looking rough and very industrial, but you can’t have it all in London and with time it might polish it up a bit.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I did not realize that there would be majority of apartment managed by L&Q in my building. I guess I still would have bought the place, but it would be nice to know up front and ask more of the difficult questions.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

POD management is a really good bunch of people. Parcel collection is a very pleasant experience and their concierge and staff assistance is unwavering. They are really helpful. There are some very nice initiatives coming from them such as resident library in the lobby. I have been raising refuse area issues for many months and they have finally come through with amazing arrangement to combat odour and potential pests and bin deficit.

9/10 Development

The development as a whole is really great, the finish inside of the apartments is really nice and nothing has been left out, they have plenty of storage and pretty soundproofed. The building and property management are incredibly helpful and make sure to keep the whole area looking pristine at all times. The pool and sauna area have a real luxury feel to them. My only negative would be that no gym is included (although there is a ‘Gym group’ gym as part of the development that you can pay for)

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The development is obviously situated right next to Battersea Park which makes it great for people who enjoy exercising outside and dog walking, the area is also improving rapidly in terms of restaurants and bars with the redevelopment of Battersea Power Station a short walk away.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The buildings are set quite close together and facing each other so privacy is not the best.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

I would love if the gym was included as part of the development or perhaps a discount deal can be achieved for tenants.

Building and the apartments are amazing!

Building and the apartments are amazing! It’s as if we are living in a hotel. Nice community vibe. apartment is really spacious and they used very good quality materials. The windows block out most noice of the streets. Hopefully there will come more developments in this area.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Close to the center, very multicultural, nice restaurantS but the streets are filthy. The council need to clean them more often.
