I hate living here and wish I didn’t. There are no paths and any paths there is lead no where. The roads are to small for 2 vehicles to pass by each other. The parking is horrendous every one just parks on what paths there are. Cars are always speeding about the crime in the area is terrible. Someone set fire to the slide in the play area. The smell of weed is all over the place. The roads in the morning are a nightmare to cross. In our street there is no where to put the bins there are no paths to walk on the grass area is a joke the drains are all blocked up. The bushes they put out the front of the our houses are just rubbish m. The flowers ain’t much better m. The light out the front of my house don’t work as it has come away from the wall and got wet. There are slugs coming in to the house from both back and front door. My garden gate latch is broke

I know the place is a building site but seriously I wish I had known how bad it was living here. You think that once you move in they will finish what they started but no it already is finished and there not doing anything else to your street

I have been happy since moving in 2 years ago. No current issues at all.

The rent is unfortunately very high for the area.

The lack of parking for thought in the development is apparent, the local shops require more parking to stop people parking in dangerous areas.

On the whole living in Tadpole is great however increasing maintenence costs don’t seem justified with the amount of maintence we receive, e.g. grass was cut only once this year, street lights not working, my personal driveway not finished since moving in 2019.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No, I have a unfinished driveway although the paths and road have been resurfaced but no sign of my driveway being completed

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Tadpole is a lovely area to live in. It has lots to offer now that the shops have opened and will be even more once the local pub and doctors surgery has opened. The area is a quiet place and not much trouble since I have lived here. The only downsides I would say are the bus service because I find that I’m limited on what I can do due to the last bus being at 7pm.

I feel like sovereign were very good with giving all the information I needed before I moved into my home
