About Scotia
Scotia’s vision is to create desirable neighbourhoods and be regarded as the developer of choice for all.
Really like our development and design, feels nice and homely. No issues with building or property management. Good facilities near by that we use frequently. Plenty of play parks for children. Difficult to find some streets some times. Area always looks clean and tidy
Really convenient for us as near local shops, and main transport links. Quiet area the only issue is parking for visitors on our street as seems to be little spaces for anyone visiting your house. Also not ideal communal satellite dish as if damaged it affects more than 1 house
Factoring fees!!
The high ceilings make our house look a lot more bigger.
Snagging took 2 years, still parts of the development that are unfinished, they took away the extra parking spaces last minute, the ground is full of loose broken glass, etc.. doors and windows need to be adjusted weekly to stop drafts, solar panels provide no benefit despite being told they would, roads around here are a joke, no paths on some and blind junctions everywhere..
I could go on for ages but I can’t wait to sell.
Cove is nice, lots of shops, busses, scenery, walks.. parking in the scotia complex is a joke
That scotia and the most ridiculously cowboy builders ever.
The door.. It gives me the ability to leave the house, get in my car, go window shop for houses and dream of a development that doesn’t make me regret a huge life choice.
House itself is great. spacious and high quality.
When we bought the house the sales team was superb and accommodating.
The after service from Scotia was excellent. All problems and queries were answered in a timely manner and we always felt support was there.
Cove itself doesn’t have much in terms of shops and restaurants, however, it is easily accessible for getting into town.
A train station would be a massive help to the area.
A garage would have been great and a path around the house.
The space is the best part and large garden. High ceilings, wide doors is very unique.
The kitchen is large also which usually gets mentioned when we r have visitors.
The buildings look ok, there is variety of design. The facilities are quite good but that also counts the fact we had existing shops in Cove. If not for them, we would be lacking an awful lot of amenities. The management team who look after our development continually bill us incorrectly and charge for items they simply do not do. In winter I have to grit my own road and pavements.
The area feels very unfriendly, mostly due to the lack of pavements on which to walk around and meet/speak to people. Neighbours can be very aggressive when approached about simple disputes and most people keep themselves to themselves.
I wish I had known that the developer was cutting corners on phase five of its building plan.
That I’m selling it within a year. Apart from that I really don’t enjoy living in the property.
