Living at TheMailBox!

The building quite ambient, good air crossing and spacious. More importantly it does not have stupid wall hump that i am soo grateful for. More importantly its quite close to bus stations and train station. Plently of grocery shops at walking distance.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Been living here for 10 months, absolutely loving it so far as main bus/train station are 2-4 mins away by walk. Plenty of shops for grocery.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

i guess the letting agents clarified almost everything when i was moving, but i would be in better position as i am going to switch apartment in same building 🙂

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

most of my issues were addressed within a reasonable timeframe.

Overall it’s pretty good.

The building is relatively pretty and well maintained. Each entrance is locked behind a code, with a camera pointing towards its door. Cleaning is done regularly. They even sometimes clean up your windows.
The trash is taken out every week and the bins are also locked behind a door code. The mailboxes are right next to them, also secured in a similar fashion. There is even an amazon locker.

Overall it’s pretty good.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I would say this is a good development. There are bus stops right in front of it, cameras in every entrance and it is located close to the city centre with a Iceland grocery store as near as a 3 min walk across the street for your weekly needs.

The streets are relatively calm at night, although the seagulls aren’t (especially around 3 am).

The only real complain i’d have is that the rent is quite high (around 850-1200 ranging from studios to 2 bedroom apartments).

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish i had known about some neighbors smoking what seems to be pot sometimes in the courtyard. The smells isn’t that great…

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I did have quite a few problems with my flat when i first moved in but the manager helped me sort through them. He’s always available for help via WhatsApp which is nice.

Amazing place to live

Amazing place to live, very thoughtful design of building. Lovely diverse community of families and professionals living here. Feels very safe and quiet. Energy efficient and warm even without the heating on. Good sound insulation. Parking has been the biggest challenge especially with bags of shopping or when friends want to visit. There’s limited in site parking but we are currently using the nearby NCP carpark.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Great shops and leisure facilities nearby. Excellent transport links. Parking is challenging but if you use the train or bus the location is perfect.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wasn’t given details of what was included with the apartment to help me plan. However, everything was a pleasant surprise.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Friendly building management who go out of their way to help. I found ine manager in on his day off cleaning up the entrance.
