Better than london!

My overall impression of the building was ‘wow, it looks like a hotel’. it gives a nice modern feel to it. My apartment is the largest, the living room is huge, the bedrooms can be slightly small but then platform_ have so many other facilities that its all just worth it. the only words I had for the lounge was ‘beautiful’ and ‘amazing’. I love a nice study/work area and well as relaxing vibe with a cup of coffee and some netflix! The sunset views on the roof terrace are worth seeing.

I just moved to crawley from London, I live with my work colleague who has been here a year now. We absolutely love platform_ It looks brand new. It is so close to town and everything is walking distance. I don’t need a car! I can definitely say Crawley is by far the best compared to London. I don’t like such a busy city with the prices ridiculously high. Its definitely worth the money.

Nothing – I was informed about everything before I moved in. I am a very simple person with not many demands so I have no issues here whatsoever.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The concierge are so friendly and that is what we like. We can always stop over for a conversation.

Great experience and wonderful location..wouldn’t rent anywhere else.

This property is perfect for anyone who wants to stay in the heart of the town and have great amenities like on site gym, roof terrace and lounge that you can book in advance for a private party. Excellent communication from the concierge and building manager. The apartment itself is very luxurious with nice finishes and design. Overall a great experience and couldn’t`t recommend more.

Ther`s nothing to dislike. Everything is within minimal walking distance , good transport links to London and beyond .

Property management, including repair man, are all friendly and helpful when needed.

Property management, including repair man, are all friendly and helpful when needed.
Design is very nice throughout communal areas and flats.
Roof could be made to look nicer but is still okay.
Facilities seem fine, covid restrictions have meant I haven’t been in communial area.
Pet rent is quite expensive but glad pets are accepted.
Internet has been good (after getting a new router) although is on the expensive side. Could get better deals elsewhere if available.

Convenient location near train station and bus station.
Good access to takeaways, restraunts, and shops.
Bin area often overcrowded.
Top floor is always very hot.
When windows are closed noise is fine.
Obvious noise from train station when windows open to be expected.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish i knew more about the local area, what there is to do etc.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

Cooling, the top floors get very hot and uncomfortable.

Great rental block located in the heart of the city with excellent facilities and a wonderful property manager.

The block is spacious with a social area and gym for tenants to socialise. It is wonderful to have a gym so conveniently located.
The property managers have recently changed. Tom is pro-active and happy to help with any problems you may have and is also a wonderful listener. It is lovely to return home after work to be greeted by such a friendly face.

Platform is in the heart of the city so it is an excellent location for local shops, restaurants and bars being only a short 10 minute walk away. There are good transport links nearby such as the bus or train within 10-15 minutes and there is a small garage for parking if you own a car. There is no anti-social behaviour or traffic noise.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Tip I would share: make an effort to get to know your nextdoor neighbour in particular – make an effort to be friendly and organise a catch up.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes whenever I have had any problems the property manager has acted promptly to sort the issue for me.

Looks nice from outside but not a nice area to live.

The property is nice however my flat itself is quite small for the money I play as only 39Square meters. The property management is average as when we have had queries often we are waiting a few days/ weeks for replies and confirmations and in some instances we never received a reply. Also certain areas have been ruined by other residents however these have not been fixed such as dog poo around the property. Also the building management wasn’t great as we did have a faulty tap which took over a month to be fixed. Also we have tried to resolve an issue between Welsh water and the landlord however no agreement has been made where we have still not known how to pay our water bill and we have been in the property for a year. There has also been gym equipment that has been broken for over 6 months. Finally we were also stuck in a lift for over an hour where we informed the staff however when we eventually got out through the lift company all the staff members had gone home.

Not many good. Unfortunately there is a lot of antisocial behaviour as there is a homeless housing shelter across the road. This attracts certain people where there is often police visiting the area. Where it is in uncomfortable to leave the building for myself and my partner as there has been instances of homeless people within the building. There has also been a lot of crimes committed around the area and cars have been broken into. We have also witness antisocial behaviour in the car park of the property who do not live her in the middle of the day.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How busy the homeless shelter across was as this affects the area and homeless people have been trespassing in the property. also how often crime is committed along the street.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

It has been okay some instances have been quick where others have been longer where we have also had to chase when certain things would be fixed such as our tap.
