A jewel in Coventry’s crown

The apartments are nice. I was attracted by the modern fittings and the simplicity. I like the provision of a lounge and I intend to use it for home working and other leisure activities. The 24-hour concierge service is excellent. It’s easy to have things delivered at any time, have them stored securely and collect them at your own convenience. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

We are right on the edge of the city centre, which is bounded by the ring road, so we can get onto the ring road (and easily go anywhere in Coventry) in a couple of minutes.
We are 10 to 15 minutes walk from the city centre, so it’s very easy to get into town on foot, lessening the need for a car.
Locally, there are not too many shops, restaurants, bars etc – unlike other parts of the city centre (I always compare what we’ve got with the housing that is in the converted Co-op building that has restaurants and bars down below, has loads of other places nearby, including public carparks.)
There are a lot of student buildings going up nearby or recently built, so I think access to more shops, bars etc will improve.
We are about 10 to 15 minutes from Far Gosford Street, which has a nice mix of restaurants, shops, pubs, barbers etc as well as the Fargo Village site.
The part of the annual Coventry Motofest that uses the ring road for car races is a couple of minutes’ walk from us, which is very handy if you like cars.

Make it a regular habit to empty your bins! Say hello to our neighbours when you get the chance.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I haven’t raised any problems, so I can’t ass anything

Best Modern Apartments in Coventry

The design of the apartments is new and modern. The bathrooms are beautiful and equiped with amazing bath and best quality faucets. The kitchen is just so amazing with the best possible equipment. All of the kitchens are equiped with an induction hob (which is so amazing and everyone needs it) and Samsung oven, fridge and microwave. The apartments have carpets only in the bedroom while the rest are hardwood floors (an amazing thing if you don’t like carpets and have allergies). Property managment is amazing and everyone on the staff is so nice and welcoming.

The area of this property is amazing. It is located in the city centre. With train station, shopping centres, restaurants and bars all being within walking distance from the property (max 15 minutes).

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The property provides free fast WiFi which is actually fast, as someone who works from home this is very important to me, especially since the WiFi is so good, we didn’t need to get any upgrades. The isolation of the apartments is just so amazing and in the winter we spent way less money on heating than we thought we would. The heating is on electric radiators so sometimes it takes a little bit longer for them to heat up the whole apartment.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Personally we did not have any problems which required to contact building managment. However, when we had any kind of questions the managment responded so quickly. The managment is also constantly trying to improve everyone’s experience which is just amazing. They perform saftey checks often so you don’t have to worry about anything.

Why I love Elliot’s Yard

I have loved staying at Elliot’s yard!

The flat is absolutely beautiful and was everything I wanted. It was fully furnished and the set up for the utilities was simple.

The staff are very helpful and attentive! Great service for sure and I am happy with where I am

Best Choice in Coventry

Clean and good furniture’s, Electronics are quality brands. Bin & recycle store, bike parking area, electric car charging, great common rooms to chill with residents. Residents has a portal for any maintenance issues, payment tracking etc. Parking space, pet friendly.

Great place to live, close to city centre by walking. A lot of options around: cafes, restaurants, markets, barbers, bus stops, library. Living next to city centre comes with a lot of pros.

Events are being organized for residents, cool and dynamic environment.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

A bolt was loose on the desk, after I realized it was solved next day by maintenance. Fast and helpful approach.
