Strata, by Multiplex, is a 43-storey high-rise in Elephant & Castle. Soaring to 148 metres-high, it’s been nicknamed ‘The Razor’ thanks to its unusually shaped summit. It was the tallest residential building in South London when it was built, and the first building to have wind turbines incorporated in its design. Strata houses 408 apartments including a selection of luxurious penthouses.

“Is a nice place, staff are friendly and the building is designed well. The only problem is that it gets far too hot – the glass windows (especially facing south) lead to overheating even in winter. The heating system in the tower also contributes to this heat. Central and friendly!

I’ve lived in Strata for a few years now and there is no better location in London! Everything is within an easy walk or short tube / bus ride. The building has a lively and active residents association with a welcoming atmosphere.

The area is still evolving. Go away for two weeks and a new coffee shop or restaurant will have opened!

Nice views, modern and iconic

The area is quite noisy here, you can hear it even on higher floors, the neighbours are okay, you don’t really get to know them though.
The shopping is really convenient here and transport is really good

The elevators are terrible, one is broken so there’s only one. There are a lot of broken things that haven’t been replaced e.g lighting and kitchen issues.

Noisy, modern, central

I like being so central I don’t think it’s too bad it’s obviously expensive but it’s expected for where we are and it is in London, the people here are of a higher class so not very talkative and there’s a lot of Chinese students too, the transport links are great and there’s a shopping centre across the road so everything is in an arms reach,

It can get really noisy here even living on higher floors, thespecially noise still carries especially the ambulances later at night.

Broken lift but a nice area

The neighbourhood is really nice
There isn’t too much shopping g around but because transport is good you can go anywhere
The floor plan and design here isn’t great, it’s modern but the way it’s laid out is terrible.

Elevator is broken here and the ventilation is bad.
Really good transport.
