Beautiful… BUT!

My home is beautiful as is my surrounding area. Storage is the only thing my house lacks. I have a few issues that I am still waiting to be resolved and I believed this was due to Covid. I needed a new bathroom sink as faulty – this was suppose to be rectified before I moved in. However I have been in nearly 2 years now and I am still waiting. I have spoken to several people at Mulberry and unfortunately the response I have had has been inadequate.
It’s such a shame as the development itself is stunning.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Moulton is a lovely community. It has a range of shops, pubs and has a very social feel. They often hold annual events that are suitable for those with young families.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Ensure your snagging list is completed prior to move in or soon after.

What is the best feature of your home:

My home is beautiful and I feel safe and secure. It is super child friendly.

No major issues – in our experience

Decent designed houses to fit into a popular village location, modern cottage style houses with smaller cream windows and deep red brick.

Facilities include electric car charging area and parcel storage but other than that not much else.

Building management has been average, sending workmen at early hours of the morning with no prior warning. The roads, whilst I appreciate it’s a building site, are absolutely awful and I’m sure have started to negatively impact the suspension and tyres on my car.

No property management as we live in a semi-detached house and not an apartment block.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Lovely to be apart of the village. Nice pubs and co-op & lots of local corner shops. No takeaways other than fish and chips available close by, not many parks or places to walk the dog away from the roads.

Unsure of public transport links but even so we are so far out of the village that I don’t think I’ve seen a bus service our area. Voi scooters don’t service us either as we are outside of the Northampton boundary. Ability to drive or pay for taxis is a requirement for transport.

No traffic noise or anti-social behaviour, parking is okay provided people utilise their drives. A lot of people down our street park in the road which is frustrating.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Large parking area in part of the estate and playing fields which, as of only recently, been declared they’re going to be owned by Moulton FC and not accessible to local residents.

What is the best feature of your home:

love the way the house looks on the outside very modern with a cottage feel.

Best feature is definitely the stunning kitchen and dining space.

Excellent development

Facilities on the development are lacking – was supposed to be an allotment area but not seen that yet.
Good visitor parking. Bad design on driveways as there is no where to really keep your bins.
Houses are nicely designed with different property styles and sizes.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Lovely village with local pubs, chemist and store. Lovely location. Houses are nicely designed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I’d known there would be additional houses built off plan but right next to the development

What is the best feature of your home:

Open plan kitchen, double driveway and nice looking development. Not too crammed in.

Very picturesque has a wow factor as your enter that other new build sites don’t have

Nice and quiet. Very picturesque has a wow factor as your enter that other new build sites don’t have. Once the development has finished we have been told we will have a park with 5 items in it, two playing fields and a garden field. We are also a 2 min walk from MSS making it easy for the secondary kids to walk to and from school safely.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Nice short walk into moulton which has a post office, coop, three pubs and a nice park which has a pop up coffee stand in it. The other side of the village a new aldi has just opened.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The radiators are very small and you can’t dry much washing on them

What is the best feature of your home:

Open plan aspect from the lounge to the kitchen / dinner works perfect for a busy young family life style
