Paddington Gardens is a centrally located Meritas Real Estate property in London’s Paddington. It’s part of the area’s ongoing transformation, and is set to complete in autumn 2019.

A not unattractive series of blocks under construction along North Wharf Road, part of the Paddington regeneration scheme that’s finally starting to come into its own. On a sunny day the cafes and bars fronting the canal are small-scale and appealing. The area isn’t huge – it’s a canal, not the Thames – but a fair amount of residential, office and retail has certainly been packed in. The Paddington Gardens development does not front the canal – hence the reference in the glossy brochure to ‘beautiful landscaped gardens’ – and the A40 runs down the back. A great home for everyone!

This development is just amazing for most potential residents out there for a variety of reasons. First of all, the variety and quantity of green spaces around the area makes it very pleasant in the summer. In addition, the place is very well developed due to the build being completed very recently. The design of the buildings is also splendid!

Likes:
– The park at the centre of the development is really nice.
– The place is well developed and all the buildings are very new.
– There is an abundance of transport with lots of stations and buses nearby.
– Design is really good; definitely more modern than most developments.

Dislikes:
– bit too crowded sometimes

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

In terms of wishes, I think that I would have liked to have know more about the area itself before moving in.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I haven’t had any problems so far with the development so I haven’t raised anything with management.

Good area.

I like the gardens very much and the scenery, also the building is also very nice to look at in my opinion. It is not too noisy and is also not too busy for me, its in between. It is easy to get to by public transport.

I like the area it is very central and okay buses and trains.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish the garden was already finished by the time i moved in.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

Nothing, the flats are very nice to look at in my opinion.

Great for all types of residents

What shines out the most about this area is just how convenient it is! Whether you’re looking for local grocery stores, restaurants or pubs, Paddington Gardens is close to it all. The local transport is also so close to the property itself and allows easy access to all areas of London, which is very useful for workers and students! The abundance of green spaces and services make this area very desirable.

The only downsides to this area would have to be its significant amount of crime.

Likes:
– The transport links in the area are very local and very frequent.
– Greens spaces surrounding the area are nice.
– It’s a very industrial area so there is a lot of services very locally.

Dislikes:
– There’s a significant amount of crime near the development.

I wish I’d known that the only internet providers in the area would be Virgin Media and BT.

Great area

Very nice surroundings, doesn’t feel like London. Very clean and well kept. My apartment is very nice, modern and new. My building doesn’t have concierge, but it is available to me. Parking good and available at the residence.

Very good. School very close by for my child. Everything I need is nearby including shops and resturants. No disadvantages.

None at all I love living here, everything is what was promised
