MCD Property reviews

“I like the location its central and close to Jewellery Quarter, Brindley Place and utilities are cheaper. The best feature s probably the balcony which has a canal view and the ensuite which is bigger than the family bathroom.” Verified resident on Islington Gates

Secure area

We once had a leakage which was fixed in less than a week. Pretty good maintenance. Modern facilities even though it’s an old building. Also, Snowhill is right around the corner and that’s really good.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The apartment is central but there’s noise on the side of the building which overlooks the Fleet Street

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I was hoping there’d be parking space for residents.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

The side of the building that overlooks Fleet Sreet but the other side is perfect! Totally soundproof.

Good location

Flat’s pretty clean. The elevator’s never broken down. Quite good maintenance. I had a problem the other time with something in my flat and it was sorted out in less than 24 hours. Cleaned once or twice a week.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The building is 10 minutes from town. Also, there’s late night parties sometimes which generates noise

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Noise pollution on the side of the building which overlooks Fleet Street

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

I wish I had a balcony to be fair. But the side of the building on Fleet Street hasn’t got any.

Location

The view from the window is good and the location is quite central to everything. The rent is relatively cheap which s a plus. I dont like that there is no concierge so parcel delivery is difficult if i am not there.

Fair

I like the location, the storage and living space. The balcony is great too. I dont like the carpets in community areas which have stains if they can change that as it makes it look a bit dated. The elevator is rickety which can make you nervous.
