About Manhattan Loft Corporation

Manhattan Loft Corporation is a design-focused property company based in London, and led by Harry Handlesman – the man behind London’s St Pancras Renaissance Hotel and the famous Chiltern Firehouse. Manhattan Loft Corporation’s aim is to ‘create properties that break the mould.’

Manhattan Loft Corporation developments

Manhattan Loft Gardens is a Manhattan Loft Corporation development in a top Stratford setting, between the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Stratford International Station. It’s a double-cantilevered tower comprised of various living spaces, three sky gardens, two restaurants and a designer hotel.

“Manhattan Loft Gardens is a mixed-use development from MLC, sandwiched between Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Stratford International. It’s a striking, 42-storey building, comprised of residential units, fine dining restaurants and a luxury hotel – which will open in spring 2019. It wowed so much upon completion, that Sunday Times Style Magazine dubbed it ‘London’s sexiest new skyscraper’ back in 2016.” – HomeViews Property Pro on Manhattan Loft Gardens

No big gripe with MLG

Facilities and design aspects of the building are great. The only gripe I have is limited hours to take our bins out and the lifts almost always have issues. And ultimate 3 lifts for this many floors and residents often isn’t enough.. half the time they’re in use and being taken up by maintenance staff.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The area is amazing, loads of things on your doorstep. Only only downside is the sound of the train announcement’s but that’s never really bothered me.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The lift situation.. half the time they don’t all work.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, and in a timely manner. Never had to wait a long time for a response.

Living in a hotel

The building was built by SOM Architects (who also built Burj Khalifa). The design of the building is amazing and challenging architecturally. Due to the design, there are 3 rooftops throughout the building providing amazing views to the city and an outdoor space to relax and hangout. Facilities within the building are all one needs. You literally feel like living in a hotel.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

This development is right next to the Westfield Mall (2-minute walk) which contains all kinds of shops and restaurants. It is also just facing the Stratford International Station and a 10-minute walk through the mall to the Stratford Underground Station.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Didn’t know there would be monthly cleaning which I now look forward to.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Whenever there’s any problem, management responds within the same day.

Great development

It’s an excellent development with great location. Right next to DLR station and cross rail station, jubilee line is small 5 mins walk. Service charge for the building is a touch on high side.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Lots of shops and restaurants around.
Lot of traffic if you plan to drive to central london

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

High service charge

Manhattan Loft is Great!

The design of the flat is beautiful. We had one issue with the a leak in our room but we were able to figure it out within good time. The facilities have otherwise been amazing, especially the kitchen. The building management has been great. The concierge has been very friendly and helpful, making our transition to our flat easier.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The close access to the mall has been a great asset to the property. It makes shopping for everything, leisure or groceries very easy and enjoyable.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish we had known that we do not have access to the mezzanine as residents, to work in or use during the day.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

When we had a leak, the building management was very communicative with us and kept us updated.
