Best in Budget

The design is quite unique. The hallway is pretty amazing with a pool table. The house design is also pretty amazing and the facilities provided for a house is top quality. The management is super nice and understanding and I am quite satisfied with my stay

The area is amazing and have all facilities like gym and dry cleaning near by. The only issue is my office is an hour away from home.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Initially, I wasn’t satisfied with the cost but eventually everything got justified.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

With any request, the management team were always ready.

Capella love

Very modern and unique design with a young vibe. The lobby area has great facilities including sofas, TV, table football and pool table.

The building manager is an absolute star, making sure everything is being tended to, with great personality and will let residents know when a parcel has arrived for them.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

There’s on site parking, 10-15mins walk to 2 stations connecting to London Bridge, as well as bus routes going straight to East Croydon.

Windows are double glazed so outside noise is minimal.
There’s a gym, boxing and martial arts gym just opposite the building, with a shisha bar restaurant in the same complex. A 24 hour petrol station is just across the road too for convenience.

The only downside is that it is opposite a recycling centre so sometimes if you open the window, the machinery can be a bit loud.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The hot water in the shower lasts just around 10mins due to the energy efficient boiler.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There was a small leak from the roof but the property manager tended to it right away, contacting repair men and keeping me up to date with all the progress.

Quiet place with busy traffic

Our building manager, Jay is really helpful and easy to go with, always helps us to resolve the issues quickly. Our apartment has a beautiful internal design. But our bedroom windows are facing the corridor. At night the light turns on from time to time that we couldn’t sleep well. The building is also lack of facilities, not to mention the lifts are always not functioning. As there is no cover on top floor, rains will get into our door sometimes.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

On the up side, it is easy to travel to other places. There are buses and trains as well. It is a quiet area with not a lot of people. There is a Tesco extra in Purley with 20-mins walk from our building. However, it is also a boring place. There is a dry cleaning service, storage services, a salon, a gym and two to three corner stores nearby. A park there is not very interesting. No restaurants, no bars etc. There is heavy traffic on the Brighton Road so the air quality is not very good.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If I have known that rains will get into our door and make the floor wet, and the lights at corridor are so bright, we probably won’t choose this place.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, the building manager always replies quickly but not the landlord. The landlord is slow in making decisions to improve the building.

Capella Court

Security of the building has been kept in mind and it feels safe to live here. Apartments design are great. Reception area is a cherry on top. Building management is very active and communicates everything on timely basis. However, recently council tax has increased.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Location of the apartment is very feasible as it has nearby bus stops, railway station, parks and grocery stores.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

When I moved here, council tax band was not known for the apartment. I wish I had known it earlier for my budgeting purpose.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have not raised any issue till date. However, Building Manager is available to cater any issues.
