Dock 5 review
The design of the interior and exterior of the building is very modern. The facilities are generally good however when there are issues in communal spaces it tends to take a long time to fix. For example the cinema room was closed for over 6 months to be fixed however we were still paying for these facilities even though we couldn’t use it. Management is generally quick to respond and you are able to ask questions and queries via the app.
Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:
Transport links are close and frequent; there’s tram stops and bus stops 10 minutes away. There are close local shops also. Free on-street parking is limited and underground parking is available for a fee. It’s generally quiet towards the back of the building away from the main road, it does get busy and a bit noisy however when there’s a football match on. The streets can get filled with litter especially on weekends but bin collection is frequent.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It’s better to have an exterior facing flat rather than one that looks into the courtyard as the courtyard can get noisy at times.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Maintenance requests can be made via the app or there’s an emergency line for more urgent issues.
