About Dstrkt

Build to Rent property developer Dstrkt was only established in 2014, as Miflats, but it’s making big waves providing affordable rental housing in and around London. Dstrkt aims to create quality, cleverly designed properties, all with their own dedicated concierge and flexible tenancies. The company is a subsidiary of Criterion Capital, which owns and manages properties across London and the South East.

Dstrkt developments

Dstrkt properties on HomeViews include Northumberland House – a large block close to Sutton Station offering car parking, and Croydon’s Delta Point and Canterbury House, two huge, high-rise blocks with transport links on the doorstep and easy access to the area’s bars, shops and restaurants.

This development is good if you want to be central to Croydon and want easy access to trainlines that go to Central London. Living here has been alright and the rent price is better than most other flats around the area.” – Natasha Granados, verified resident at Delta Point

Nice-looking flats with the worlds worst maintenance and tenant care.

We were told there would be an on-site handman before moving in, but 6 months in it turned out that we would have to pay a £75 call out fee to get him to change the battery in one of the fire alarms in the property. The ceilings were like 3 metres tall, there’s no way we could have done it ourselves and we didn’t exactly have space to store a ladder that tall.
When we moved in we were the first tenants in the property, but one of the toilets was completely blocked and not working and it took the landlord 2 months to decide to help us to get it fixed, and it never worked properly again.
A lot of the fixtures in the flat, like the front door handle, are very cheap. This resulted in me being stuck outside the flat for 4 hours one night because the door lock wasn’t opening, leaving my housemate stuck inside.
For weeks the bins wouldn’t be collected from the bin room and people would just have to throw their bags of rubbish through the door, and it stunk so badly.
The concierges are nice people but there’s not a lot they can do about any of the issues.
The fridge is very small, too small for two people.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Location was great, centre of town and great transport links
Very loud next to the bus station

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the fire alarms would run out of battery every 2 months and beep incessantly and it would cost £75 to get someone to come and change them for us.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

Maintenance funding needs to be improved drastically

Unsatisfied

There are often kids on their bicycles in the parking lot.
The apartments are small, are only good for sleeping and commuting. The building does get cleaned but people often leave rubbish around. The maintenance people are around, however the agency hardly ever respond. The flats are hot and you cant change the thermostat. The concierge are only here 9 to 5, i have seen night concierge but not very often.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The station is very nearby, the location is very convenient.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

As the windows dont open, it is far too hot, and there is no aircon.

Convenient place to live

Lots of good facilities around, good for shopping , and for food. Often go to box park on the weekend for a good time. Would appreciate if the room was a bit bigger but a good size in general. The elevator often breaks down , and sometimes can take a while before it has been fixed

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The location is amazing, but the street is a bit dirty sometimes. Transport are really good and is one of the main reasons I decided to live here.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

All the information that was needed was given to me

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They used to be quite good but sometimes they can be quite slow when fixing the lift

Delta Point – Excellent Location, Stunning Views!

The building itself consist of consist of new refurbished apartments…the one I’m staying in is a 1 bed..contempary and modern. The property management on the front Desk Dina is awesome, very attentive and helpful, from the 1st day I moved in, always greets with a smile and makes you feel very welcome. I did not have much interaction with the previous building manager. My dealing with Stu Clay the interim building manager has been awesome, he assisted with a personal matter which he attended to in such a professional way, I cannot fault the customer service…I feel very fortunate to have dealt with him and not the other Building Manager…

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Delta Point is a central Hub to everything, absolutely great location, you have Croydon Bus station opposite the building along with the Tram Link. You have amenities galore, from Sainsbury’s, Tesco, local Greengroceries, Local Butchers all a 5 min walk. You also have West Croydon Station 3 mins walk and East Croydon a 7 min walk… In terms of traffic noise its not loud and the views from the floors of the Sunset from the higher floors are stunning!..

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Before I moved in, I wish there would of been more clarity on the 24 hr conceirge service, especially in terms of collecting packages. Also the problem with the lifts and the repetition of them breaking down is a pain, however since Stu Clay has been on the matter, we have had more lifts functioning lifts in circuit.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very Prompt and Professional, my matter was treated with sincere concern.
