Great Design inside and out

The design is really good – I am in a smaller house. It feels spacious – the builders work hard and seem to take pride. The people who live here all take pride and work to maintain the development which is still being built

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I love my Dandarra new build – I have been on 3 years – no issues at all really – the finish is exceptional and far higher than other people feel about their new builds – never noticed no pavements (or very few) until I moved in)

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

My car parking space is tight – only negative

What is the best feature of your home:

The insulation and sound proofing and the finish which is very good

It’s a good life in Grandhome 👍

Design & materials are of high standard, rooms are spacious and well laid out. We find our apartment really warm without any heating on so that’s good. Building maintenance can be slow but does get resolved, hopefully this wi improve with our factoring people now in place etc

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Fantastic area, close to shops/schools/pubs. Only thing missing is a bus service, it’s a 10 minute walk to the nearest bust stop. Location is set back off the main road making it nice & quiet with some lovely gardens & areas to sit in when the weather is nice. Surrounding areas are well maintained, bins are emptied on time, plenty parking as everyone has there own space plus numerous visitor spaces. Close by there are some great woods for dog walking. All in all a lovely good looking area to live in

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Plans for a shop & potentially a pub have been mentioned

What is the best feature of your home:

The patio doors in my living room letting in lots of sunshine & fresh air

Good development and growing, pretty well connected for convenience.

House designs are good and very energy efficient which is right for the times. The grounds are kept well and if there is any snagging the development has been good in rectifying. The only thing I’d change is there is shrubs behind our parking spot and that would be better to be Astro turf, a very minor issue for me.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Enjoy living here, facilities are fairly close such as a Big Asda, parking is good but if a resident has more than one car and a visitor it can be a challenge. Neighbours are all lovely.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Broadband is good with optical however sky still need a bit of coaching in setting up as if you get the wrong engineer it can take longer than needed. Garden grass needs a bit of work with weeds but otherwise all is good.

What is the best feature of your home:

Love the 3rd floor, and the energy efficiency. Particularly like the fact we have Gas appliances as I love gas for cooking. Don’t often get this with new build properties.

Development is well laid with quiet streets

Development is well laid with quiet streets, excellent mix of property types which helps to give a good of people living in the area from families to retired pensioners which helps to make a pleasant area to live in. The area is also fortunate to be close to countryside and park walks.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Area is very quiet, shop/cafes are within walking distance, new supermarket will improve area when it opens. Parking and bin collections are excellent, has been occasional problems with gangs of youths from other areas gathering locally.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The amount of work required to get the back garden into an enjoyable space.

What is the best feature of your home:

The open plan design which makes living in a small house airy and pleasant.
