Overall the development is fantastically located in Winchmore Hill

Overall the development is fantastically located in Winchmore Hill close to transport links and plenty of social/entertainment venues, while maintaining a peaceful, homely environment.

The design is very contemporary and functional, compared with other developments nearby. Dandara has made full use of the floor space strategically, the flats are all open plan inside and feel very bright and spacious.

Transport links in the area are fantastic there are plenty of bus stops nearby and a train straight into central London within 30mins just a minute walk away.

Plenty of choice with restos, bars and pubs.

Noise in the evenings is non existent the building is fantastically sound proofed, including the balcony doors which are triple glazed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the balcony leaked water onto the one below….ideally before we watered the plants.

What is the best feature of your home:

The gorgeous view from the balcony overlooking the river and fields.

A beautiful home in a credited ‘place to be’

The sunroom does not get sun, but is a lovely open space with double door access to Patio and garden.
Minor snagging was seen to by the management team very efficiently.
There are problems in other parts of the estate with bad landscaping and steep gradients.

Barley Brae development is sited on the Eastern outskirts of North Berwick. Dundara have been very helpful with initial minor snagging, and have corrected some of the initial drainage and landscaping issuesWithin a few hundred yards there is access to two supermarkets, petrol, and free cashline. A short walk to the beautiful beach, or into the town where there is an array of quality restaurants and shopping. A regular bus service to Edinburgh passes the rail station, offering a choice of transport.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We only had 30minutes to view the house before purchase, and our handover time was compromised by the arrival of our furniture.

What is the best feature of your home:

The open kitchen/ diner/ sunroof sold the house for us

Great, Would 100% recommend

Dandara have been great throughout. Anytime we had a question or needed help they were always more than happy to help, Site manager is great. Gave me his direct line so if I needed anything, I went straight to him, would 100% recommend Dandara to anyone. Been a pleasure.

Great location, street is very quiet and friendly. Visually pleasing as well with all the top tier developers.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Electric heating is expensive and doesn’t really work well with the new flat regulations of having a open vent in the bedrooms, this trips the electric heating.

What is the best feature of your home:

Kitchen and bathroom finishing, best of appliances.

Village in London

Having previously purchased a new build in another area of London I can say I am very impressed by the build. Having support on hand to handle any snags and issues you may have is also a massive help. Any issues we have had have been sorted incredibly quickly.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Lots of quality coffee and shops around. Backs onto the best cricket club in the area as well as being next to a huge supermarket and a train line that runs to moorgate. Couldn’t be better

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Just in general, make sure the sofa fits the lift if you’re living off the ground floor

What is the best feature of your home:

Location, or maybe layout, in fact there’s no one best feature
