The Royal Victoria Residence is a City & Docklands property in London’s Royal Docks neighbourhood. This stunning high-rise offers two and three-bedroom apartments in a prime waterfront location, with design-led interiors and views of Canary Wharf and the City. Each residential unit comes with private outdoor space to make the most of the vistas. Nearby transport links are excellent, and come courtesy of DLR services and, very soon, Crossrail connections – which should appeal to those looking to invest.

Great transport links via DLR

I’m happy with the apartment – it’s good quality and attractive. However there are a few niggles/ design flaws such as the fact that the light for the bathroom is behind the door (this gets very irritating!). There are also a lot of bugs and flies that come in despite the fact that I’m on a high floor. It can be quite noisy due to City Airport but this isn’t a huge issue.

I chose this development for the convenience- it’s really close to the DLR and I can get to London Bridge easily for work.

I like that it’s close to the DLR and nice and quiet. I don’t like that there is not a big supermarket nearby.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known that there wasn’t a gym and that there weren’t great gyms nearby

Lovely area and apartment

The apartment is really great – modern, good quality and attractive. It’s also really spacious and this is what really swayed me – I looked at lots of other apartments but this one definitely had the most space.

The best feature of my home is the balcony – it’s really big and there is an amazing view across the river and surrounding area

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I really like the area – its quiet, green, there’s a lovely promenade along the river and it’s nice and residential. The surroundings are really great. I don’t like that it’s so far from central London though.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I knew that there would not be a gym but it would be great if there was one

Friendly Form

Friendly community with some exceptions. Good transport, 5 minute walk from the station. No concierge. Loads of restaurants. Fairly expensive. Coop and Tesco, nice and convenient. There are parks. It’s a small community which is great for meeting new people. No problems with neighbours and haven’t had any complaints myself. I have a dog, I have to take him around the local area unfortunately because poison was used to kill the local cats and dogs.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Awful parking. One whole side of the area is a no car park zone. Window desperate to move out

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish that I knew that the smaller yards would be locked. I assumed that they were there for the

The truth

It isn’t cleaned properly, repairs do not get done and landlord is charging a mountain of service charge for no service in return, repairs do not get done by the landlords after months of waiting and always look for a shour cut , terrible experience you have to wait hours to speak to report a emergency repair

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Very poorly looked after and the landlord is very ignorant for people who are paying rent to stay , absolute disgrace

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How useless guniess is as a landlord provider and hh

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Over 2 months and not even a update on when or what sorr of meaures taking place to sorr out the ussue
