Love the design of the place

Love the design of the place just could be bigger as I have a 2 year old and me living together can fit her bed. Building management is perfect the staff are nice and sort any problems straight away. Also more kitchen side space would be nice as very little space to cook

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

It is a good area because there’s loads of restaurants and shops needed. One thing is the fire station right opposite and bust roads is something I don’t like.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

A good thing is that the security guards and building manager are very polite and help with any needs

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

When I have a problem the building manager will sort it straight away

The manager is very friendly

It is a very clean and well kept building with 24/7 desk staff/security, which makes me feel safe. The manager is very friendly, and she responds very quickly to any concerns or issues you may have. She is approachable, and asks how myself and my child are doing.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The size of our room is good for the time being although I was promised when we originally moved in. We would get some replacement blinds as ours are not in the best of condition and we are not able to wash clothes here so I have to do washing elsewhere. Nonetheless, it is in a decent location with a local Tesco within walking distance but there can be a lot of noise during the early mornings with constant traffic building up on the main road, and a lot of people with mental health issues pass by from the hospital. I also have an issue with not being able to park in the building car pack so I have to find parking elsewhere, which can sometimes be a 15 minute walk. However, if I have food shopping whoever is in the office usually lets me park to unload as I have a toddler. Overall, it is a very decent building and the staff are very nice.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew I was not able to apply for a permit for parking as that causes a lot of daily issues for me so we usually stay indoors.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

She always replies back to messages I leave about the flat we are currently in. For example, we have a ceiling leak and she has been sorting that out for us. She is always available to speak with, and she really cares about us.

Concord House

The building management team have always been very nice to me and my family. They check-in with me to make sure I am well and always help with any problems that I might have in my flat. The management team always take my parcels and keep them safe, they always greet us in the morning and evening, a very friendly management team.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

We live a minute walk from the hospital, which is very convenient for appointments. We also live near local supermarkets but the noise level from the main road can be a bit loud during the night time, especially on weekends.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew the time-frame of how long we might be here for but other than that. I am grateful we have somewhere to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

She is always reports the problem and she keeps me updated too.

Angry

I wouldn’t recommend anyone live here that have children, it’s very unsafe there’s hazards literally everywhere. This building has red ants and it’s extremely hot all year round.
The rooms are not convenient for families and I think anyone that lives here including me have been left by the council like we are not a priority. This building I think should be demolished

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

This building is close to the town centre which is convenient but it’s on the main busy round with loud sirens as it’s close to mayday hospital, close to transport. Not enough parking for residents. Antisocial behaviour on the main road by drunkens

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish i was warned about all the negative point about this building because I wouldn’t of moved here otherwise

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They take note but take long to act on the repairs
