Property is nice size. Good to have downstairs toilet too. However the walls are all plasterboard and when my coat rack fell off it came to my attention that it was put up without using correct fixings which makes me worry about the rest of the house if something so simple wasn’t done properly. My stair skirting is all cracked and coming away from the stairs. And the front door eye piece gets too much moisture inside to be able to see out. I have already had to have my front door handle fixed too. Garden is a slope too which creates problems for my children. It could have been levelled out.
Local shop is awful, never had any stock always looks like it’s about to close down.
Transport to Winchester is awful one bus an hour which is almost guaranteed to be late.
Parking spaces aren’t marked with numbers so I struggle to park in my own spaces, with 2 young children this is very infuriating. Neighbours park out the front of my house so that’s never an option either. Where my house is the bins are a struggle to get in and out too. Young children seem to roam around the estate causing various problems. I get lots of rubbish out the front of my house too.
That you would have to drive to go anywhere really.
Nice size rooms, having a downstairs toilet, having a garden
House design poor, ground floor all one room no separate living area and kitchen, not attractive and practical for family with children.
There are no fitted wardrobes which can be very convenient for someone.
Property management is ok.
Building defects reported which can be an inconvenience.
Good open space and parks.
Shop ok.
Public transport ok, not fully reliable.
Living in the street is hell due to anti social behaviour.
Parking availability good.
Bin collection excellent.
Traffic noise ok.
Bad antisocial behaviour in the street
The development has looked tatty for quite some time and is obviously work in progress but the playground areas have been abandoned and the grass frequently needs cutting.
We have listed our snags to Taylor Wimpey but only a few of the problems were resolved after various emails being sent and received.
We love the area and are happy with the location and the house itself.
We are very happy with local shops and services. We could use a petrol station nearer.
We find it quiet where we are and have had no issues with neighbours.
I wish we knew about the park area right outside our front door.
We love the top floor of our town house. The garden is also a good size.
