Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is a great place to live. There is a good variety of shops nearby, including supermarkets and small convenience stores, so daily shopping is very easy. There are also several nice restaurants, cafés, and a few cozy bars within walking distance, offering good quality food and a friendly atmosphere. Green spaces and parks are close by, which is perfect for walks and relaxing outdoors. Transport links are reliable and make commuting simple, whether by bus or car. The street feels safe and friendly, with neighbours who are respectful and considerate. Parking is generally manageable, and the area is well looked after. It’s usually quiet at night, with very little traffic noise, which makes it a comfortable and relaxing place to come home

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, I had a small issue with the balcony, and the building management responded immediately. By the very next day, the problem was completely fixed. In general, any questions or concerns I have raised are addressed quickly and efficiently, with clear communication. Their responsiveness makes living here very reassuring and stress-free.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is that in a studio apartment, some appliances like the boiler or fridge can make noticeable noise. It’s not a big issue, but if you’re a very light sleeper, it’s worth keeping this in mind when choosing a place. Overall, it’s still a comfortable and lovely home, just be prepared for small everyday sounds.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living on Silvertown Way is honestly a total win for anyone wanting that seamless London lifestyle. Being right next to Canning Town station is a game-changer—you’re basically minutes from anywhere—and having a massive Morrisons and great local spots like Zzetta right on your doorstep makes life so easy. The vibe is super modern, and the views over toward Thames Barrier Park are a huge plus for weekend walks. Even though it's a bustling area, the apartments at East 16 are so well-insulated that it stays impressively quiet inside, and the parking situation is actually a major relief; there are always spots available, and the management is incredibly helpful with letting you use their spaces for moving in or out.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Choosing to rent at Fizzy E16 instead of Fizzy Canning Town specifically for the onsite team was easily the best decision we made. Having management physically present makes a world of difference; the maintenance team is incredibly prompt with repairs, the security staff is always helpful, and there’s a genuine sense that everything is in good hands. It’s that extra layer of support that transforms the renting experience from stressful to seamless.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Honestly, the one thing I wish I’d known is just how much of a "presence" the new building across the street would be. Since it's in the home stretch, there’s this constant hum of finishing works that you just don't catch during a quick viewing. The biggest curveball is definitely the Saturday morning wake-up calls—they do tend to get an early start on the weekends, which isn't ideal if you were planning on sleeping in. That said, it’s not all bad; the site goes totally silent in the evenings and on Sundays, and it hasn't really caused any massive headaches.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is a good range of shops, restaurants and cafés nearby, offering both convenience and quality, and open spaces are well kept and pleasant to use. Transport links are generally reliable and make commuting easy, although peak times can sometimes be busy. Parking can occasionally be limited but overall traffic noise is manageable and the area feels safe and comfortable to live in

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has always responded promptly and taken care of all our requests. The repair and maintenance staff member, Mohammad, was amazing, he did a great job and was consistently professional, helpful, and courteous.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We also have access to the other Fizzy building, which is only about a 7-minute walk away, and we’re able to use all the amenities there. It’s a great bonus, with a spacious communal area that includes table tennis, a pool table, and a well-equipped gym, giving plenty of options for both relaxing and staying active.

Canning Town has leveled up—and Fizzy is the place to be

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I’ve been living at Fizzy Canning Town for a while now, and honestly, the change around here has been massive. It’s gone from just a place you pass through to a spot where you actually want to hang out. Having the Hallsville Quarter right outside our front door is such a win—grabbing groceries at Morrisons or a coffee at a local spot is so easy. Plus, being a "Fizzy" resident, you get that extra layer of security and the concierge team, which really helps the place feel like a proper community. Sure, you get the odd isolated thing happening nearby like you would anywhere in London, but the vibe here is actually really positive and the new streets are super well-lit and modern. The best part? The commute is a total joke (in a good way). I can hop on the Jubilee or DLR and be at Canary Wharf in two minutes flat, and having the Elizabeth Line so close at Custom House makes getting across town effortless. It’s just a really convenient, buzzy place to live, and I’m loving being right in the thick of it.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Living at Fizzy Canning Town has been a seamless experience thanks to the exceptional management by Greystar and Fizzy. Their team provides swift, professional, and personalised attention to every maintenance ticket, ensuring any issues are resolved with genuine care rather than just a standard response. Beyond repairs, their commitment to continuous and proactive communication keeps residents well-informed and feeling valued, making it a standout choice for high-quality urban living.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I’d known sooner is just how much the "reformed" status of Canning Town genuinely elevates daily life; having a Morrisons, Iceland, and multiple modern amenities right at your doorstep makes the "20-minute neighborhood" lifestyle a reality rather than just a marketing pitch. Beyond the local convenience, a huge insider tip for new neighbors is the "perk" of our Greystar connection: residents at Fizzy Canning Town actually have an agreement to use the high-end gym and professional co-working spaces over at Fizzy East 16. It’s essentially like having a second set of premium facilities just a short walk away, which is a total game-changer for anyone who works from home or wants to switch up their workout routine without paying for an extra membership.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I’ve been living at Fizzy East 16 for near a month now, and honestly, the transformation of this corner of East London has been massive. It’s evolved from a transit hub into a neighborhood where you actually want to spend your weekends. Being right in the heart of the E16 regeneration is such a win—having local shops, gyms, and the revitalised dockside areas just a short walk away makes life so easy. Plus, being a 'Fizzy' resident, you get that added peace of mind with the on-site property managers and the leasing team. They really go the extra mile to make the building feel like a proper community rather than just another block of flats.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Fizzy East 16 Management is hands down the best I’ve dealt with. The team is superb—always available, friendly, and lightning-fast with maintenance tickets. There is a great vibe here, and you can tell that resident satisfaction is always their top priority. 10/10

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I’d known before moving in is just how much more you get here compared to a standard apartment rental—it’s really about the community vibe rather than just the square footage. While prices may increase from time to time, I’ve found that the cost is well worth it when you consider the alternative of a cheaper, no-frills accommodation that lacks services and amenities. Having a dedicated team on-site that makes everything simple for the residents removes so much daily stress, and that seamless experience, combined with the social environment, makes living here far superior to saving a few dollars elsewhere.
