Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area is vibrant and well-connected, with a good range of restaurants, coffee shops, and independent boutiques just a short walk away. Public transport links are excellent — multiple bus routes and a nearby underground station make commuting into central London very convenient. There is also a good mixture of people from all walks of life ranging from students, to workers to families from all backgrounds. It is a really nice place to live and connect with others.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
To the best of their ability as we had an issue that was out of the building managements hands.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Rent increases. Please clarify before renewing because we had very irrational 37% rent increase although this had nothing to do with the people on site we weren’t really happy with how the issue was resolved as it wasn’t resolved and we feel what we were charged was unfair especially as no one else we knew in that building was paying that much and we still have not had a valid explanation but didn’t have enough notice time to move out.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The neighborhood stands out for how well-maintained and quiet it is, offering a calm, relaxed atmosphere that’s perfect for families or anyone looking to escape the noise of busier areas. However, one thing to be aware of is the limited availability of shops and stores nearby which means a bit of extra travel for certain goods or services.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Property Manager Mustafa Dar has been exceptionally helpful, insightful, and professional. Always quick to respond and resolve any issues that arise, and does so with a consistently polite and respectful approach.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There’s a genuine community feel here—people say hello in the lifts, and the regular events make it easy to get to know your neighbours. As someone who moved to MK from another city, that’s made a huge difference in helping me settle in. The location is fantastic. Whether it’s grabbing coffee, walking to the station, or doing a quick shop, everything is right on your doorstep. You’re close to Campbell Park for green space, and there are plenty of leisure options nearby.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The maintenance team is excellent—very responsive and proactive. I once logged a minor issue with my shower, and it was fixed the same day with no fuss.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
A tip would be to take advantage of the co-working spaces and bookable private areas—they’re perfect for working from home or even hosting small gatherings. And don’t miss out on resident socials—they’re well organised and a great way to make new friends.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Location-wise, it’s ideal. The Almere is right in the city centre, just a short walk from the station (great for commuting to London), shopping centre, and loads of restaurants and cafes. Despite the central location, it’s surprisingly quiet inside the apartments thanks to great soundproofing.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any issues I’ve raised have been sorted quickly, thanks in large part to the brilliant maintenance team. They’re always on hand, efficient, and incredibly professional—whether it’s fixing something minor or handling a more complex issue, they get it done quickly and with a smile.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Ask the team about their Neighbourhood heroes —there are some great resident perks available on their app when you become a resident.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Excellent property, spacious rooms, quality kitchen and bathrooms, lovely garden, and storage shed. Whitehouse is well laid out, and despite the new building work, there is no noise or inconvenience. The locality is provisioned with open park spaces, a cafe and pharmacy next to the NHS Surgery, and several new schools. Property management is very efficient, and Mustafa Dar responds effectively when we have questions.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
A couple of minor issues we had on moving in were managed by Mustafa quickly and all resolved.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Whitehouse is a new area still being developed. Good mix of families already resident gives a nice sense of community. The property has a number of cupboards but no hanging rails. All properties have allocated car parking space and electric charging in place.
