Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The good thing about living in the area is It feels really good living so central where almost everywhere is a walking distance. Station, cornerstones, pubs and grocery stores are all within a walking distance. The only bad thing about living in the area is the loud noice of motorcycles around quiet hours

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

If any issue is raised it is being resolved in about a day and it is being fixed properly

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing I can think of, everything just seemed to work out really well on moving in

In general, I like the place and everything about it, but the only issue is I’m not used to small rooms which is very common in the UK but these rooms are quite spacious.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Where I live is very nice and convenient because there is a small market next to it and then only 8 to 10 minutes away. There is restaurant bars and other nightlife activities. there is parking available in the basement and there is a rubbish bin that is located in the ground floor and also the same company does meet ups for the tenants every week.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, I contacted them in the beginning because the room was not very clean and the dishwasher was dirty. The next day they have sent me the home cleaner to clean everything again.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I knew everything that I was getting into before I move in, so therefore there is nothing that I wanted to know

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is excellent , minutes away from local shops. Five minutes walk to Hove station, plenty of buses going by just outside. Hove Park is round the corner which is great to walk my dog. Being so central it is surprisingly quiet in my room.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have had no problems to report personally. However when issues arise, we were informed promptly and the issue is resolved very quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It is very warm and friendly and my apartment is now very cosy and comfortable. The art work, planting and sculptures dotted around everywhere give the whole place Cosoul, such an unexpected surprise.

Sept 2025

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We love the location, with many shops and restaurants close by. Also very close to the train station which is highly convenient if you commute to London.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Haven’t had any problems yet, but any questions have been answered swiftly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It is a bit inconvenient that you are not allowed to hang pictures or put up shelves yourself. Instead you need to book an appointment with the maintenance team.

Manager response

Thank you once again for your valuable feedback, and for choosing York & Elder as your "home". Kind regards, Serena
