Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living on Silbury Boulevard is exceptionally convenient. Being directly opposite Centre:MK (and John Lewis) makes shopping, dining out, and grabbing everyday essentials effortless. The proximity to Campbell Park provides fantastic green space just a short walk away. Transport links are great, with quick access to Milton Keynes Central station. Traffic noise is minimal, bin collections are handled efficiently, and the area feels very safe. Parking in the central zone can be busy at peak hours, but overall, it's a brilliant location.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Management has been prompt, approachable, and proactive whenever an issue arises. Minor maintenance requests submitted via the portal are usually dealt with within 24–48 hours, and communication from the team on site is always clear and professional.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew just how vibrant the resident community events would be—it's worth keeping an eye on the resident portal updates so you don't miss out on socials! Also, factor in peak delivery times for the parcel collection system, though overall it runs very smoothly.

Living experience in Solstice

Solstice Apartments, MK9

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is very convenient, with a shopping centre directly opposite the building offering plenty of restaurants, cafés, and grocery shops. The central train station is also within around a 10-minute drive or a 30-minute walk, making it easy to get around and commute.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The staff are fast and responsive when it comes to addressing issues within the flat. We can easily communicate with them either by message or directly. Any day-to-day issues we have encountered have been resolved promptly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The bin collection point is located outside the building, and the area can be sometimes quite dark. It would be more user-friendly if the lighting could be kept on.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area itself seems safe, quiet and with efficient council services like bin collection. There’s plenty of parking space and neighbours seems respectful.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Alicia is my building manager and very reliable. When called upon for basic services like getting the lawn mowed when I moved in or getting my door unlocked so I can get the house keys a few minutes before the taxi arrived to take me to the airport. Both minor and major scenarios she was able to reliably save me.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How hot the house gets, this summer was exceptional and very hard to judge until the heat wave hit but air conditioning would need to be considered as a permanent feature in the future.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Nice location to the park and shopping mall, also very convenient to go to the station if needed. Sometime at night time this location attracts strangers and street racers but that's acceptable if you're inside your cozy place to stay!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

issues with appliances happens very often but so far manageable

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

how hot is the building and apartments, AC is a must.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Everything you could possibly need is within a walking distance. Very convenient for shops and travel.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have only had one minor request up to this point with regards to maintenance but the response was swift and the work was completed to. good standard so credit to the team for how they go about their work.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The ease in which your post is both managed and made secure. Very useful. Prior to moving in when reading reviews from other tenants. There were a few complaints about the refuse store (Bin area) and the time it takes to take rubbish out and the state of the room etc, I disagree really. The room is easily accessible and for what it is, it's an easy process and the room is well maintained on the whole. An FYI - Furnished apartments will more than likely have the bare minimum, enough to get started but you'll still need to bring most amenities with you (eg no cutlery or kitchen items, kettle, microwave, lamps etc) - Also, should you then want to upgrade your furniture, you can't give back what you were given on arrival and there's no storage available so just worth baring in mind so you don't end up like me with two sofas in your front room. Just how nice the staff are, everyone is pleasant and come across so genuine. A good team who make the effort!
