How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes - poor flush mechanism and noisy water cylinder were resolved promptly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Only one heater in lounge so it is on almost all the time which means higher energy bills.

There is nothing I can complain about in this building - facilities and layout is great. The building is managed by a super lovely team - especially Danielle and Lisa who are very friendly and we love having chats with on our way in and out the building! They have helped us out countless times with our questions and inquiries. I suppose if there is ONE thing I wish the building had was a treadmill in the gym, but even that is unnecessary considering all the things already offered.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location is ideal for its proximity to the shopping centre and train station, however with that comes the dangers of anti-social behaviour and vehicle thefts, especially at night. Luckily this building has an amazing indoor car park for residents.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The Residents team are very quick to respond via WhatsApp and have been incredibly helpful. We have not yet needed to raise any maintenance issues.

Honestly nothing, all relevant information was shared from the start. What you see is genuinely what you get, it is a great building led by people who care, and is very well equipped and organised.

I am on my second year at Solstice Apartments in Milton Keynes and would say to anyone seeking Premier city Centre living with very high standards cleanliness and organisation throughout communal areas,gym, reception, and outside of the building is also maintained to a very high standard,Reception team are very professional and approachable Daniel and Lisa are an amazing team to have, always very happy to help with any issues that arise and are very quick to act on any problems/issues whether that be in my apartment or in the communal areas they are always happy to help in a polite and professional manner,And for the time I’ve been here the Maintenance have been the same very quick to act on any problems that come up and do so very professionally,So I would definitely say Solstice Apartments is one of best in Milton Keynes and highly recommend.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Really enjoy this location and the convenience as it’s a very short walk to the MK Centre and many nice restaurants gyms and so much more, so I am in close distance to everything that I need.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management team,are great, very quick to act on any problems or issues around the development and always do so in a very professional manner

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I don’t have many negatives to speak about, but if I was being picky, I would say the ceiling height in the gym so you could put treadmills in there.

The design of the development is pretty decent. The amenities are good (now), the community has a rare "real" feel to it. The school is active in the community (our kids don't even go there as it opened after they had started school). There is a lot of open space. The only frustrating thing is driveways built at the back, meaning EV vehicles aren't really an option. Our garden is probably the smallest on the development, and is maybe 15 ft. The property management is non existent. There is a lot of land adjacent to our house that the developer owns and is supposed to maintain/landscape. It hasn't been touched since 2022, and looks like a building site. We only hear from the property manager when our fees go up annually (interest plus 2%), and they often refer to the shared hallways or flats - none of which is applicable as we have a semi detached house. We always query the prices, and they can never give us a breakdown of what our fees are being used for. Often, the breakdown is one line - "management fee:

A shop has finally opened, after 6 years of living on the development. A coffee shop is due to open soon. There are lots of play parks and the new school seems fantastic. Transport links are not great from what I've heard - we avoid public transport. The nearest restaurant is a very nice pub, which is a good 20 minute walk. The main road is quite noisy, and the industrial estate opposite can be disruptive. Both of these attract car meets and racers frequently. There is a lot of visitor parking spaces, some residents choose to ignore and park in the road anyway.

Get a professional snagger; there were so many things wrong that we didnt identify until after the deadline because theyre conveniently hidden

What is the best feature of your home:

Storage space; lots of big cupboards. Lots of natural light from big windows.

There are sometimes bad actors in the local neighborhood that will try and break into your car. you can mitigate this by paying for a parking spot, but it is much cheaper to get a yearly parking pass. Also, the resident permit zones are stupid and prioritize centre mk customers / workers over residents that pay premium £ to live at Solstice. not the fault of Grainger or Solstice, but it sucks

They quickly assessed whatever my complaint was and did their best to sort it out in a timely manner and provided prompt updates.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known about the parking situation, as well as the quality of service provided by Glide. If im honest, they suck. Customer service is horrible from them when you have issues, the security protocols are weak & the internet speeds are extremely slow, even if you upgrade to a higher tier of service. Please fix this, get rid of them and find a more responsive ISP.
