Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living on Silbury Boulevard is exceptionally convenient. Being directly opposite Centre:MK (and John Lewis) makes shopping, dining out, and grabbing everyday essentials effortless. The proximity to Campbell Park provides fantastic green space just a short walk away. Transport links are great, with quick access to Milton Keynes Central station. Traffic noise is minimal, bin collections are handled efficiently, and the area feels very safe. Parking in the central zone can be busy at peak hours, but overall, it's a brilliant location.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Management has been prompt, approachable, and proactive whenever an issue arises. Minor maintenance requests submitted via the portal are usually dealt with within 24–48 hours, and communication from the team on site is always clear and professional.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I knew just how vibrant the resident community events would be—it's worth keeping an eye on the resident portal updates so you don't miss out on socials! Also, factor in peak delivery times for the parcel collection system, though overall it runs very smoothly.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area itself seems safe, quiet and with efficient council services like bin collection. There’s plenty of parking space and neighbours seems respectful.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Alicia is my building manager and very reliable. When called upon for basic services like getting the lawn mowed when I moved in or getting my door unlocked so I can get the house keys a few minutes before the taxi arrived to take me to the airport. Both minor and major scenarios she was able to reliably save me.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
How hot the house gets, this summer was exceptional and very hard to judge until the heat wave hit but air conditioning would need to be considered as a permanent feature in the future.

Nice location to the park and shopping mall, also very convenient to go to the station if needed. Sometime at night time this location attracts strangers and street racers but that's acceptable if you're inside your cozy place to stay!

issues with appliances happens very often but so far manageable

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Everything is very close by and extremely convenient. I really like that we live right across the Sainsbury supermarket, because it makes getting groceries a really easy chore since we don't own a car yet. The restaurants and bars are also amazing, there are so many options, and I love that I can just go down and take my pick without paying for Uber.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They reply in a short amount of time and usually always help fix the issue.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There isn't anything in particular, everything was clear.

The best part of living here is the staff. Cristina, Susan and Bethany are lovely and always keen to help and make residents feel at home.

The maintenance team response is always quick and helpful
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known that the gym would not be built for 2 years of my stay. We also had a coffee machine that was taken away abruptly. So we have less perks than expected or initially offered
Manager response
Hi Aminat, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and for your kind comments about Christina, Susan and Bethany. We’re really pleased to hear that the team, cleanliness and maintenance have been highlights of your experience at The Almere. We would just like to clarify one point regarding the gym, as a gym has never been formally announced or confirmed as a future facility at The Almere. As you mentioned that you have been waiting for one for almost two years, we would really appreciate you getting in touch with the team to let us know where this information came from so that we can look into this further. We also appreciate your disappointment regarding the removal of the coffee machine. The team has responded to the concerns raised about this; however, unfortunately, this decision sits outside of the onsite team’s control. Thank you again for your feedback and for recommending The Almere. We hope you continue to enjoy being part of our community.
