Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is very convenient, with a good selection of local shops, supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants within easy reach. There are also several open green spaces nearby that make the area pleasant for walking and outdoor activities. Transport links are excellent, with regular bus services and easy access to central Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. Parking was generally available and the street felt safe and well maintained. Bin collections were reliable, and I experienced very little anti-social behaviour.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They were quick and helpful. Any issue with the flat was resolved to the highest of standards.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I had all information shared with me by the team since the start

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Being so close to milton keynes central station has been very helpful. It's a 10 minute walk, or a 3 minute scooter/bike ride or a £5 Uber ride if it's raining. So convenient. Parking in the garage is great, car and belongings are safe and secure (and dry). Everybody in the building to the management, staff and every resident we've come in contact with has been lovely. We never have any issues with hearing noises from neighbors which was a concern in moving into a flat - but it's no issue here. On new years eve it was great b/c from our flat we could see all the fireworks all around the city from the comfort of our home! Of course, it goes without saying that being within a block of grocery stores, the mall, a gym and dozen of restaurants is incredible. We feel very lucky to live here. We could even walk to the Milton Keynes Theater for the Pantamine show last Christmas.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quickly and has always fixed any problem we've had with one go.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How great the restaurants are that are just right around the corner!

Almere - the best of the best

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The Almere is in the most idyllic location in Milton Keynes. Sainsbury's is right across the street so we have the easiest, fastest access to groceries. We found an amazing Thai massage spa across the street that we visit at least a couple times a month, our gym (Bannatynes) is literally the building right next door to our flat - and the mall is just a block away. And the train station is a 10 minute walk (or a 3 minutes Lime bike/scooter away). Then there's a dozen restaurants all within the same block as our flat! Everything from nice/fancy restaurants, to faster-food places like Nandos. Every amenity is within walking distance - I can't imagine why anyone would choose to live anywhere else if they're looking for flat-living!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The couple of times we had to put in for maintenance requests - we've been serviced within a day, if not the very same day! Even once on a bank holiday!! And they come into our flat with the best attitude - friendly, helpful, personable - I've never once experienced anyone here with a gripey disposition. Always cheery and lovely.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Everybody here is very accommodating and helpful. Check out all the restaurants that are right around the corner- they're really quite good!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location, close to everything, quiet at nights, super green & friendly. It is a central city location, so there can be some vehicle, social noise. However, in general, it’s chill, easy & a great place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Don’t tell the others but the the Park Square maintenance team are our favourites. Such wonderful, helpful, friendly chaps. Always quick to resolve issues & if they can’t they managing expectations well. They deserve qudos & a pay rise : )

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We wish we knew how fabulous this place was as we would have looked to move in sooner. We also wish we had known how lush & green central MK was & is as we would have considered this place sooner if we had known. We do now so win.

Great location, but lower-floor living is disappointing

Enigma Square, MK9

Jun 2026

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is very convenient and well connected. The development is close to shops, restaurants, cafés, bars and everyday amenities, which makes day-to-day living easy. Transport links are also good, and the central location is one of the strongest positives of living here. The main downside is that the immediate environment can be affected by noise and disruption, particularly around the communal areas. As someone on a lower floor, this has sometimes made the area feel less peaceful than expected. However, purely in terms of location, convenience and access to amenities, it is a strong place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

In my experience, responses have been polite but not effective. Issues are acknowledged, but there is often little visible action or meaningful follow-up, and at times it can feel as though concerns are being fobbed off rather than properly addressed. This has been particularly frustrating in relation to repeated noise, disruption in the communal areas, and privacy concerns, all of which have affected my ability to fully enjoy my home.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how much the lower-floor experience can depend on both the floor you are on and the neighbours around you. If you are affected by unruly or inconsiderate neighbours, management may not take meaningful action, which can leave residents to simply put up with the disruption. If you are sensitive to noise or want a peaceful home after work, I would strongly recommend choosing a higher floor. The location is excellent, but your floor and surrounding neighbours can make a major difference to your overall experience.
