Receptionists ,Management,Maintenance,Housekeeping and security staff are extremely helpful and friendly making sure you feel welcomed. Nice amenities here including the work from home space and a BBQ and private kitchen for family or party gatherings,a great top floor open lounge with balcony making living here very enjoyable and we have an Excellent community here .

Quick to reply and carry out maintenance. The building is very clean by staff

I could see more of good things like easy transport communication, nearby Grocery store and good restaurants. So everything is nearby to the Almere.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes they did quite well. We have raised a request for heating issues during peak winters. They addressed very quickly and sort it for us.

I just feel the sunlight comes less in our house which is one thing missing.

I love the local area. Plenty of restaurants, bars, a 10 minute walk from the shopping centre and train station.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quickly and professionally. I’ve only had a couple of very minor issues, but they’ve been solved incredibly quickly.

I do wish we were told there wouldn’t be someone on the desk 24/7 in future. It was a selling point not something we were told would be changing.

Yes - poor flush mechanism and noisy water cylinder were resolved promptly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Only one heater in lounge so it is on almost all the time which means higher energy bills.

I’ve lived here for around 15 months and overall there are several things the building does really well. The communal spaces are consistently clean and well maintained, and the staff are friendly and approachable. The community managers also make a genuine effort to create a sense of community through events like paint and sip nights, Halloween activities, and Christmas events. The exercise classes offered to residents — such as Pilates and cardio circuit — are another great addition and something I’ve appreciated during my time here. However, I feel it’s important to raise a concern that many residents share. One of the amenities that made this building particularly attractive when choosing between apartments was the communal coffee machine. Along with the promise that a gym facility was being developed, it formed part of the overall offering that influenced my decision to move here. Unfortunately, the gym has still not been built after more than a year, and residents have now been informed that the coffee machine will be removed. This is disappointing because it removes one of the few amenities that was highlighted when many of us chose to live here. While there are definitely positive aspects to living in the building, the sudden removal of an advertised amenity without a clear replacement or update on the gym development undermines some of the value that originally attracted residents to this property. I hope management takes resident feedback seriously and considers how these amenities contribute to the overall living experience.

The local area is one of the best aspects of living here. It is very well located, with easy walking access to the shopping centre, Sainsbury’s supermarket, the train station, as well as a wide range of restaurants and bars. This makes day-to-day errands and social activities very convenient without needing to travel far.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Maintenance professionals respond very quickly and fix any issue professionally

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Overall, my experience living here has been positive and the building is generally well managed. However, one thing I wish I had known before moving in is that some of the amenities presented during the move-in process may not actually materialise or may later be removed. For example, residents were told that a gym was being developed, but this has not been delivered despite a significant amount of time passing. Similarly, amenities such as the communal coffee machine — which were part of the appeal when choosing this building — are now being removed. In hindsight, I would have liked clearer communication about which facilities were guaranteed and which were only prospective. Setting realistic expectations would help residents make more informed decisions when choosing to move in.
