Park Square is great. We did have our reservations about what living in central MK would be like. Those reservations where quickly reduced once our Park Square adventure began. It’s all lovely. The staff, the design, the location, the other tenants. What a great place to call home. This is our first serviced living experience & it really is a game changer. So many facilities, so much social opportunity & generally a peaceful, pleasant living experience. We have a dog & it couldn’t be more dog friendly, there is even a dedicated Bark Bar serving 24/7 dog treats, that goes down very well with our 4legged friend. Park Square is super clean, tidy & really well run. The Park Square team are friendly, mega helpful & always on hand for questions or support. We’d wholeheartedly recommend living here to anyone who asks. If in doubt, come pay a visit : )

Great location, close to everything, quiet at nights, super green & friendly. It is a central city location, so there can be some vehicle, social noise. However, in general, it’s chill, easy & a great place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Don’t tell the others but the the Park Square maintenance team are our favourites. Such wonderful, helpful, friendly chaps. Always quick to resolve issues & if they can’t they managing expectations well. They deserve qudos & a pay rise : )

We wish we knew how fabulous this place was as we would have looked to move in sooner. We also wish we had known how lush & green central MK was & is as we would have considered this place sooner if we had known. We do now so win.

Good: The location is central and convenient, with easy access to local amenities. The on-site gym is also a useful benefit. Poor: Unfortunately, my overall experience has been negatively affected by inconsistent management and a lack of meaningful action when issues are raised. For close to £1,400 per month, excluding bills, friendly greetings are not enough. Residents should reasonably expect issues to be addressed properly and consistently. In my view, the standard of management has declined since Janki left. She appeared to understand the building and how to deal with matters effectively. Since then, there has been a lot of talk but very little visible follow-through, which has made the experience frustrating. As a resident on a lower floor, the repeated evening noise from unsupervised children in the communal areas has significantly affected my ability to enjoy my home after work. It often feels as though the common areas are being used as a play area, with little intervention from management. This noise and disruption also appears to have prevented others from using the communal spaces as designed, including residents with balconies overlooking those areas who may reasonably expect to be able to enjoy their outdoor space. The communal areas also often smell unpleasant, and the lack of windows or proper ventilation in those spaces feels like a major design flaw. The resident events are also underwhelming in my opinion, particularly when compared with Arbour nearby. Given that residents pay similar amounts, it may be worth management looking to Arbour for inspiration on how to create more engaging and worthwhile resident events. The furniture is fairly flimsy, particularly the sofa and tables, and the walls mark very easily. Based on my experience, residents should expect to repaint properly when leaving, as minor touch-ups are unlikely to be sufficient. Overall, the lower-floor living experience has been disappointing due to noise, poor communal standards, and management’s apparent reluctance to properly address recurring issues. If you are considering living here, I would strongly recommend choosing a higher floor. You may have to deal with heat in the summer, but at least you are less likely to experience the level of noise and disruption that can come with living closer to the communal areas. It is also frustrating that rent increases year after year without any obvious improvement in the overall living experience. Location-wise, however, it is a win.

The local area is very convenient and well connected. The development is close to shops, restaurants, cafés, bars and everyday amenities, which makes day-to-day living easy. Transport links are also good, and the central location is one of the strongest positives of living here. The main downside is that the immediate environment can be affected by noise and disruption, particularly around the communal areas. As someone on a lower floor, this has sometimes made the area feel less peaceful than expected. However, purely in terms of location, convenience and access to amenities, it is a strong place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

In my experience, responses have been polite but not effective. Issues are acknowledged, but there is often little visible action or meaningful follow-up, and at times it can feel as though concerns are being fobbed off rather than properly addressed. This has been particularly frustrating in relation to repeated noise, disruption in the communal areas, and privacy concerns, all of which have affected my ability to fully enjoy my home.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how much the lower-floor experience can depend on both the floor you are on and the neighbours around you. If you are affected by unruly or inconsiderate neighbours, management may not take meaningful action, which can leave residents to simply put up with the disruption. If you are sensitive to noise or want a peaceful home after work, I would strongly recommend choosing a higher floor. The location is excellent, but your floor and surrounding neighbours can make a major difference to your overall experience.

Arbour is really lovely, its like walking into a hotel when you first enter the building. The reception design is big and open, the furniture is lovely and modern. I think we are very fortunate with our facilities, lots of open spaces to chill, three different terraces which is great. We also have a well maintained courtyard too, where you can chill during the later summer evenings. I do love the well equipped gym and very nice work from home office area too, we even have private office spaces which you can book for personal meetings. Its a great building, I love my one bedroom flat, I think its ideal for a single person as it is really lovely furnished and best of all I do like having a big balcony too. I love living at the Arbour, very grateful to the Resident team too, they are just fantastic, we have so many great socials all free of charge, I think its such a great way to meet new people, so thank you!!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Arbour is perfectly located to all the shops and transport links, it was essential for me to be at least a 10min walk from the main Milton Keynes station. Its about a 15mins walk to the main shops and at least 20mins walk from Campbell Park, which is so beautiful.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building is managed very well, all my enquiries are always responded to in a timely manner at least within 48 hrs. The Resident team are always really helpful and attentive to any issues I have, I just love them.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The one thing I would of like to understand better would of been the parking options, as I did get quite a few parking tickets when I first moved in and that was because I had a hard time trying to understand where I could or couldn't park in the area. The underground parking was full and once I had all the necessary information to register for on street parking as a resident, everything else was perfect.

I have had a very positive experience living in this development. The design of the buildings and communal areas is modern, attractive and well thought out. The development is kept clean and maintained to a high standard, creating a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. Facilities are excellent and contribute to a comfortable lifestyle. Property management is professional, responsive and helpful whenever issues or queries arise. The development feels secure, quiet and well cared for, and the overall quality of construction has met my expectations.

The local area is a great place to live, with a good selection of shops, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and green spaces all within easy reach. Public transport links are reliable and provide convenient access to nearby towns and the city centre. The neighbourhood feels safe, friendly and well maintained, making it suitable for families and professionals alike. Parking is generally available, and bin collections are carried out regularly without issues.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have had a very positive experience living in this development. The reception team is always friendly, responsive, and professional, handling all queries and issues efficiently. Parcel management is well organised and reliable, while the communal areas are consistently clean and well maintained. Security is excellent, making the building feel safe and secure at all times. Overall, it is a well-managed development and a great place to live.
