Living at Ebb&Flow Apartments in Reading has been incredibly convenient. The train station is just a 1.5-minute walk away, making my London commute seamless (I’m at Tottenham Court Road in 35 minutes door-to-door.) There’s a fantastic local vibe with places like Siren Craft Brew just on the corner of the building offering excellent beer and food. Plenty of great restaurants nearby and all the essentials are within easy reach. Sainsbury’s is literally attached to the building. We’ve never had issues with noise, and the area feels safe and well-kept. Security are by the main entrance on weekends.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No issues except one: When our hob broke the day after moving in, maintenance was at our door within 10 minutes and replaced it immediately.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Honestly, nothing major. Everything was as expected or better. If anything, we were pleasantly surprised by how social and well-equipped the building is. One small tip: when ordering from Amazon (or anywhere really), make sure to include detailed delivery instructions. There are two buildings, and your parcels might decide to go on their own little adventure to the wrong one!

The area around Ebb and Flow is lively and convenient. There’s a good mix of local shops, supermarkets, and cafes within walking distance. Plenty of green spaces nearby for walks or relaxing. Public transport links are strong with nearby buses and train stations, making commuting easy. The street is generally quiet with minimal traffic noise, and we haven’t noticed any anti-social behaviour so far. Bin collections are regular and parking is manageable, though it can get a bit tight at peak times. Overall, it’s a great place to live!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They’ve responded quickly and helpfully to any questions or issues we raised. Communication was excellent, and everything was handled efficiently and with care.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It would have been helpful to know a bit more about how the Flatfair deposit process works for international tenants, especially the banking codes required for payment. Also, bringing proof of right to rent on move-in day is essential, so have all your documents ready.

Reading has a wide range of shops, restaurants and green spaces. The street is quiet yet very convenient for travel locally and nationally - particularly to London.

We’ve recently moved into this residence, and it’s truly extraordinary. Everything is brand new, thoughtfully designed, and impeccably maintained. The common areas are amazing—perfectly suited for working, relaxing, or staying active. The fitness classes offered are a great bonus and truly appreciated.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The staff is fantastic. A special thank you to Véronique, who gave us a thorough tour and clearly explained every step of the process. Her support both before and after signing the lease made everything so easy. We’d also like to thank Mia, who kindly helped us settle in

No bad things all it’s perfect, You truly feel at home living here—everything is so easy to access, whether it’s the on-site services offered within the residence or the nearby shops and train stations. Daily life is made incredibly smooth and convenient, which makes living here all the more enjoyable.

Very central and prime location. The development is in close proximity to shops and restaurants. Most importantly the train station is just a few minutes away which makes it easy to reach London and other popular destinations.
