Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Great place to shop and easy transport for trains to get to work, close to entertainment and activities ,close to London. Most things that we need are close by.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has responded to most of our issues quickly and have managed to resolve most of them as best they could
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I would’ve liked to know that the building doesn’t have their own private parking before as it says on the website they have parking available not realising it meant paid parking
Manager response

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
This is a great central location in Woking with easy access to shops and restaurants. Train station and bus stops are located very close by. Parking is all part of the Victoria Place shopping centre, which is expensive, but does provide a covered area for your vehicle.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The maintenance team are always on hand. Management are happy to be communicated with directly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I would highly recommend viewing different floor plans to see what is right for you, as the small differences can help decision making.
Manager response
Hi Adam, Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. We’re delighted to hear that you’re enjoying your home, the facilities, and the views from The Marches. It’s especially rewarding to hear your kind comments about our maintenance and cleaning teams. We’ll be sure to pass your feedback on to Ryan, Pedro and Nkosi, who will be pleased to know their hard work and dedication have made such a positive impact on your experience. We’re also glad that you’ve enjoyed the sense of community within the building and the resident events organised by the team. Creating opportunities for residents to connect is something we’re passionate about, so it’s wonderful to hear this has been appreciated. Thank you as well for sharing your feedback about the local area and apartment floor plans. Insights like these are valuable for future residents considering their move. We’re pleased that you’ve found both the management and maintenance teams approachable and responsive whenever support has been needed. Thank you again for your kind words and for recommending us. Kind regards, Zaida & The Marches Team

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Location is brilliant, you are literally above a shopping centre which has a good variety of shops, there is also a wide variety of cuisines around and also a good range of bars. There is also an escape room, the arcades, theatre, cinema and even a culinary experience at the Gordon Ramsay Academy and only 5 minutes walk away from the train station that can quickly get into London Waterloo in 30 minutes.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
There is an app which you can log and see the status of your issues, we had a few issues but were resolved pretty much the same day, or if there was a missing piece, then you would get an update via the app or a phone call.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I guess if I had to nitpick, if you're on the lower levels, you can hear the trains go by, but it doesn't really bother us, we've been here for 6 months now and so far so good!
Manager response
Hi Henry, Thank you for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review. We’re delighted to hear that you’ve had such a positive experience at The Marches. It’s especially lovely to hear your kind comments about the team. We’ll be sure to pass your feedback on to Anne, Jasmine, Beth, Rosa, Ed, John, Ryan, Nkosi, Bilal and Ali. Our team works hard to create a welcoming community, so it’s great to know their efforts have made a difference. We’re also pleased that you’re enjoying the resident events, coworking space, amenities and convenient location. It’s fantastic to hear that the shopping, dining and transport links have all contributed to your experience. Thank you for your feedback regarding train noise on the lower floors. We appreciate you sharing this insight, and we’re glad it hasn’t impacted your enjoyment of your home. It’s great to hear that any issues you’ve raised have been resolved quickly and that you’ve found the app and communication from the team helpful throughout. Thank you again for your kind words and for recommending us. Kind regards, Zaida & The Marches Team

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
So many food and shopping options in Woking and the immediate shopping centre below us. There’s fast food, nicer sit down restaurants and a few pubs!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I have only experienced one issue (washing machine) and Ryan came with me from reception (at the time i initially reported it) and sorted for me within 10 mins!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Cardboard not going down the recycling shoot is odd but there’s adequate way around it (cardboard room)
Manager response
Hi Josh, Thank you for taking the time to leave such a positive review, we really appreciate it. It’s wonderful to hear that you’re enjoying the building and the views, and that the communal areas are making such a great impression too. We’re also pleased to hear that you’re making the most of everything Woking has to offer. Thank you for your kind comments about the team. It’s especially great to hear that Ryan was able to assist with your washing machine issue so quickly and that he took the time to offer additional advice to help you settle into life at The Marches. I’ll be sure to pass your feedback on to him and the wider Facilities team. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the recycling arrangements. It's helpful to hear your perspective, and we're glad that the dedicated cardboard disposal area provides a suitable alternative. Thank you again for your feedback and for recommending us. We’re delighted to hear that your experience with the team has been such a positive one. Kind regards, Zaida & The Marches Team

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Acceptable and convenient. Daily living support is adequate, shopping malls are just right next to it. 5 minutes walking distance to train station, 24 minutes to London Waterloo Station.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes Handover checklist is very helpful and management has agreed to follow up
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Try to view different floors and apartments as many as possible before committing, higher floors will give you a different experience.
Manager response
Hi, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us, we really appreciate it. We’re pleased to hear that you’re enjoying many aspects of life at The Marches, including the apartment design, floor-to-ceiling windows, soundproofing, and the convenience of the location. It’s also great to know that features such as the parcel room and communal spaces have made a positive impression, and that the proximity to the station and local amenities has been beneficial. Thank you as well for sharing your thoughts on the top floor amenity space. We always welcome suggestions from residents, and feedback like this helps us understand how our facilities can best meet residents’ needs. We’re glad that the handover checklist was helpful and that the team has been able to support you with any points raised during your move-in process. While we're pleased to hear there are many aspects of the building that you would recommend. We would really welcome the opportunity to better understand if there is anything that has impacted your experience or that we could improve.
