Woking has all of the local necessities to happily get by. There is an array of restaurants and cafe's to choose from, lovely local green space, ample shopping and access to public transport. The local street is pleasant although the delivery bikes racing down the street are an accident waiting to happen.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Management are very swift at responding to questions and concerns and are good at forewarning of any potential future disturbances and workarounds for residents. This is very useful when considering things like electricity, water, building safety and general safety concerns. Information goes a long way to ensuring that residents feel safe and involved. I also appreciate the availability that management have to communicate via email or in person. The maintenance team have held apartment inductions which are very helpful.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I really appreciate how well insulated the rooms are, they are constructed very well and I hardly hear any noise from neighbours. Train noise and sparks can cause disturbance.

We appreciate the convenient location of the apartment, which is only a 5-minute walk to the train station and a quick half-hour journey to London from the train station. The local area is safe and offers many excellent restaurants and shops. The apartment's windows effectively filter out train and traffic noise ensuring a quiet living environment.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Responses are usually swift, whether through email or phone, which is great. The management and reception are willing to communicate.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The soundproofing within the building is excellent. We have never been disturbed by any noises from neighbours.

I wanted to leave a 5 star review for Ryan Ellery who offered a balcony cleaning service in time for summer. It was a job I was putting off myself so I loved that the Marches offers this service for a really reasonable price. I wasn’t at home when the cleaning was taking place but Ryan kindly called me when finished and popped all my balcony furniture back in place. The balcony is gleaming! Thank you Ryan :)

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Whenever I’ve had any issues the marches team have responded quickly and resolved in a timely manner

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would have loved to have brought my sofa with me but the apartment comes fully furnished only

Marches is located centrally in woking town and every shop and train station is in few minutes walk from it. Best place to be living in woking. Wonderful view of woking from cosy area and from the balcony.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management has been able to resolve my problems very promptly and professionally. They also offer extra services like balcony cleaning which was handled by Ryan who made the process transparent and did a fantastic job in cleaning the balcony very efficiently. Also, there are many other instances where the maintenance team Pedro and Nkosi were very helpful in resolving the issues raised for repairs in the apartment.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The information about hefty standing charges on the electricity and water bills are something that would notice once you move in to the building. Also, drawback of having this building centrally located is that it does not offer parking services on its own, rather need to get separate parking pass from woking council to park your car, which is an year round pay service on top of rent. An allotted parking space should have been an important service that could have been offered.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The train station, a good range of restaurants, and local shops are all easily accessible. Parking is another great facility located just below the flats.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Highlighting again Ryan Ellery, he is so friendly! He helped us clean the balcony. And the garden area is always clean and tidy. Very respectful! Too. We had an issue with our electric hob; Pedro came in to do his diagnostics and replaced it the next day.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I think the water pressure in the bathroom taps was a bit let down but Pedro recommended few things and it was all good.
