Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It’s close to the tram stop and Piccadilly station. There’s loads of good bars and restaurants nearby too. But if you’re on the side of the building that is opposite Leonardo Hotel, there can be a lot of noise on the weekend and occasionally throughout the week, which can be disruptive in the middle of the night.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They’ve listened and been quick to respond, and tried to find a solution quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

They are some flats which have a completely obscured view from the bedroom, looking on to a brick wall. It’s not particularly ideal.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area has nearby shops that are a walkable distance. Near to a metrolink stop, and transport links are overall very good.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quick response. It was also very quick and convenient to log the request via the App.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

A small induction on how to use the parcel room would be ideal!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in my local area feels like having a warm "community support system," especially with the nearby supermarket being such a highlight. It’s just a 3-minute walk from my home—super convenient for grabbing groceries after work or sudden needs like late-night snacks. What truly stands out is the supermarket staff’s friendliness. The front desk team is always smiling, greeting regulars by name and happy to help with anything from bagging items to finding hard-to-locate products. And Simon from the team is absolutely fantastic—he’s incredibly enthusiastic and goes above and beyond. Even after his shift ends, he’ll reply to my messages promptly when I’ve had questions (like checking if a specific milk is in stock or how to use a store coupon), and he’s solved so many little troubles for me that made daily life much easier. This kind of care doesn’t just make shopping nicer; it makes the whole neighborhood feel like a close-knit community. It’s the small, thoughtful gestures from people like Simon that turn "living nearby a supermarket" into a real joy of this area.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management (and Simon in particular) has been incredibly responsive and helpful. When I was looking to move in, Simon went out of his way to let me choose a check-in time that fit my schedule perfectly. He also patiently showed me numerous apartments—even when I asked to see several options back and forth—never seeming annoyed, and answered all my questions in detail. His willingness to accommodate and his patience made the whole moving process smooth and stress-free.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good Aspects: The location is excellent. Ancoats has a great selection of restaurants, cafés and bars, while the nearby Northern Quarter offers even more choices along with a range of shops. It’s just a short walk to Market Street and the Arndale Shopping Centre, with everything you need - including public transport links - everything is easily accessible. The convenience of having so much within walking distance is a great aspect of the area. Less Positive Aspects: One drawback is the frequent sound of sirens from emergency services, which is understandable given the proximity to a major road and the realities of living in a city. Parking can also be challenging due to limited car park availability and permit restrictions.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management team have genuinely been great from the get-go. They always respond helpfully to any issues or questions, offering advice and support. They make living here much easier and more enjoyable. I can't fault them.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Lessons were learned, the main one being to use as many deliveries as you can to your benefit to lighten the move-in load.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in my local area has a nice balance of community feel and convenience. There’s a good range of local shops and restaurants, from family-run cafés to a few bigger chain stores, so you can usually find what you need without going too far. Bars are friendly and relaxed, though nightlife is limited compared to the city centre. Open spaces are well-kept, with parks that are great for walks and families. Transport links are fairly reliable with frequent buses and a nearby train station, though traffic can get heavy during rush hour. My street is generally quiet with decent parking availability, regular bin collections, and minimal anti-social behaviour. I’d like to acknowledge **Ikechukwu, Samson, Kwam, and Ross** for being really nice and doing a great job in the community — they help make the area feel welcoming and well looked after.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has always responded promptly and professionally to any issues raised, ensuring problems are resolved quickly and efficiently. Their communication is clear, and they consistently show care for residents’ comfort and satisfaction.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is just how friendly and supportive the community is. The neighbours and staff, especially **Ikechukwu, Samson, Kwam, and Ross**, truly make the place feel like home. The sense of community and teamwork here goes far beyond what you’d expect from a typical development — everyone looks out for one another. I’d tell new neighbours to get involved in community activities and make the most of the shared spaces, as they’re great places to meet people and build lasting connections.
