Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is incredibly convenient for travel into manchester if you work in the ciry centre. Most offices are within walking distance. Transport links are very good. Little to no anti-social behaviour on the street. The local area is arguably the best in the city for bars and restaurants with lots of options in app price ranges. Traffic is quite loud next to a busy main thoroughfare but good quality windows block most of the noise out.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management have always acted swiftly on any issues raised and where an immediate fix is not available, they have been clear and communicative about how and when this will be fixed. There is a regular maintenance day scheduled so we know at most an issue will be fixed within a week.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That there are lots of great independent businesses nearby that are good quality and a great place to spend time.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Such a good location! Walking distance to Deansgate and 5 mins from Cornbrook tram stop. There’s a co op, Tesco express and Morrisons within 5 mins as well.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Always respond very quickly with a solution! Extremely helpful!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Use the building app! Super helpful for selling or getting a bargain on furniture etc.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location has been one of the biggest surprises for us. Transport links into central Manchester are fantastic, while Didsbury and Chorlton, two of our favourite places, are so close that there is always somewhere new to explore. M&S being around a five-minute walk away is also a huge win for me! We’ve felt very safe here too. There’s a police station on the same road and a speed camera nearby. We’ve personally had no issues with speeding or antisocial behaviour. It gives us the best of both worlds: easy access to Manchester and some lovely surrounding areas, while still feeling like a comfortable place to come home to.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Excellent. We had an issue with our tap and the team dealt with it the very same day. Communication has always been easy and the management team are approachable, responsive and genuinely helpful. Natalie in particular brings such positive energy to the building and always makes you feel that nothing is too much trouble.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I’d known just how much of a community Podium would become. I expected a beautiful apartment and great facilities, but I didn’t expect the resident events to introduce us to so many neighbours or for the team to make the building feel so personal. My advice to anyone moving in would be: get involved in the events! They’ve been one of the unexpected highlights of living here.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Moving house in Manchester was honestly a stressful experience, so finding VOX was a huge relief. From the moment I moved in, I’ve really appreciated how modern, clean and well-designed the building is. The apartment itself feels comfortable and thoughtfully designed, and the communal spaces are a lovely bonus. The location is another major advantage. Being so close to Cornbrook tram stop makes getting around Manchester incredibly convenient, while the canal and surrounding areas are great for walking. It’s close enough to the city centre to enjoy everything Manchester has to offer without feeling like you are right in the middle of the chaos.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

My experience with the management team has been positive. They have been approachable and responsive whenever I have needed help, and I’ve found the staff welcoming and professional.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known just how much I would appreciate the communal facilities — particularly the rooftop and residents’ spaces. They are not just nice features on paper; they genuinely add to the experience of living here. Overall, I’m really happy that I chose VOX. After the stress of finding a home in Manchester, it feels good to finally have a place that I can genuinely call home.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is great - only a short walk into the city centre and the immediate local area has come on leaps and bounds in the last few years. Lots of great spots to eat and drink.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

All issues we’ve had have been dealt with swiftly. Replacement furnishings were always provided within a day or two when needed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Developments that have gone up around the area have increased density - it’s not as quiet as it used to be but that’s not really any fault of Slate Yard.
