Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The facilities and location have been great. I believe the only improvement I would suggest is having more parking spots for residence. We're currently on a waiting list but don't know how long it would take to secure a spot. Other than limited parking, no complaints for anything else.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, I had a couple of inquiries regarding the fan in the bathroom and the staff has responding very quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The only tip I could share is if you are moving here you might have get rid of a few belongings as the place is fully furnished and has all the appliances we need.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The restaurant and shop facilities are conveniently located within walking distance of the city centre. Plenty of parking inside and outside of the building and tram and train station around the corner.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management have responded well whenever I’ve raised any issues. Beth, Helena and Josh are always approachable and have always been great with dealing with things in a timely and straightforward way. Communication is clear and you’re kept updated where needed. Mat from maintenance has also been reliable, sorting things efficiently and without any fuss. Overall, any problems I’ve mentioned have been handled properly and promptly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing you don’t always see on a viewing is how smoothly the building runs day to day. Management are approachable and issues are handled properly when raised, which makes living here straightforward and hassle free. Overall, it feels organised and well managed once you’re actually living here.

Modern Living with a Real Sense of Community

Swan Street House, M4

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in Swan Street has been a really positive experience. The range of local shops is excellent, from major supermarkets to independent boutiques, making everyday errands quick and convenient. The food scene is a standout feature, with a huge variety of restaurants, cafés, and bars offering something for every taste, from casual dining to more upscale options. There are also several well-maintained green spaces nearby that provide a welcome break from the busy city atmosphere. Transport links are one of the biggest advantages — trams, buses, and train stations are all within easy reach, making commuting and getting around the city simple and reliable. On the street, there’s a lively but friendly feel, and while city living means some background noise and limited parking, it’s a small trade-off for the convenience. Bin collections are regular and the area feels well looked after. Overall, it’s a vibrant, well-connected place to live with great amenities right on your doorstep.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management has always been responsive and professional when issues are raised. Requests are tracked through the app, which provides great transparency and clear communication, and any problems are handled promptly and efficiently.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I’d known beforehand is how strong the sense of community would be - it’s actually a real highlight. The regular social events organised by the management team make it easy to meet neighbours, which isn’t something you always expect from city living. I’d also recommend getting familiar with the resident app early on, as it’s really useful for logging requests, receiving updates, and staying informed about what’s happening in the building. Overall, it’s been a pleasant surprise how well supported and connected you feel living here.

Anco&co: great location, residents & staff

Anna (Tenant)

Anco&co, M4

Feb 2026

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location couldn’t be better… somehow in the city centre but also in what feels like our own little Ancoats village! Lots of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. Bin collections tend to happen at unsociable hours (5-6am).

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any issues within our flat have been responded to promptly (where applicable)! Ongoing issues include the faulty wiring affecting the oven/hob and the faulty windows.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the gym wouldn’t be a permanent feature of the building.
