The Trilogy, M15

Mar 2026

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The trilogy is situated near a co-op, Tesco and Morrisons and is a really short walk to the canal where you can walk down to bars and restaurants and into the city of Manchester. As someone who didn’t know Manchester before I moved here, it’s an ideal location and there’s also a new reformer Pilates studio that has opened up a 5 minute walk away. Having the tram stop so close is ideal as well.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have always been prompt and resolved any issue

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That there are many events throughout the month, it’s great to be in a building that organises events for the residents

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is brilliant, everything is so near by but there is rarely any noise you’d expect from living in the city centre. The bars and restaurants around are great and everything else you need is a quick walk away.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, any issues or questions I’ve had have been resolved within hours.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There are so many different spaces it took me a little while to work out where everything is.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The best part of living in new islington is everything near by, the tram station and all the local shops you need with so much variety.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

For the management, they need more improvement as it takes long to fix anything ,

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Overall, living in this area, it's one of my great options as it's not that busy but you will find the things you're looking for,

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

On the edge of the shopping centre of Manchester city, it is very convenient to navigate around town and buses are close by. Traffic can be busy and certain junctions don't leave pedestrians much time to cross in the immediate area but otherwise it is fine to get around. Occasionally on weekend nights yelling can be heard by people enjoying the nightlife nearby even with windows closed, however it is infrequent. Bin collection is good, and there are plenty of bin varieties to access. There is both public and private parking available on-site for an extra monthly fee which has been worth the cost. There has been continuous construction which has also caused noise previously on the main road and is currently causing some restricted access to the back parking area. There are many shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants all within walking distance. Buses, tram and train services are all easy to get to and use.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

On day 1 we had some initial issues with one of the wardrobe doors being off its runner, the kickboard in the kitchen having fallen off, and the fridge smelling quite bad. The maintenance staff very promptly responded, fixing the door and kickboard, and cleaning the fridge and letting it air out. Later we also had some of the bathroom light bulbs die, which were quickly replaced, and we also had an issue with the washing machine's circuit board which was replaced with the staff already expecting that to be the issue and having the parts prepared which we were very impressed and grateful for the excellent service.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The bed is not particularly comfortable, and could have really benefitted from a style that was raised or had storage built in. Occasionally the main bathroom does have a bit of an off smell without personal use, this is presumably from the pipes/drainage. The juliet balcony is useful for ventilation but catches wind easily, and unfortunately the design of it is not ideal for a cat-owner as there are spaces where they could squeeze through which would be unsafe so access needs to be restricted meaning we can't have it open fully.

A Well-Run Development with Great Support from Andy & Alex

Pomona Wharf, M15

Mar 2026

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Pomona Wharf is a quiet and modern residential area with good access to Manchester city centre. The nearby Pomona Metrolink stop provides quick transport links into the city, MediaCity and Trafford. There are several supermarkets, restaurants, bars and gyms within a short distance, particularly in Castlefield, Cornbrook and MediaCity. The canal paths and nearby green spaces are great for walking and cycling. The area is generally peaceful, although traffic noise can sometimes be heard from nearby main roads, and parking can be limited in some areas. Bin collections are regular, and overall it feels like a safe and convenient place to live with good transport connections and local amenities.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management team have always responded quickly and professionally to any issues raised. Communication is clear and problems are usually addressed promptly. Andy and Alex are great and are always approachable and helpful when assistance is needed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is how convenient the location is for getting around Manchester. The nearby Metrolink stops make commuting into the city centre and MediaCity very easy, and the canal paths are great for walking or cycling. It’s also quieter than you might expect for somewhere so close to the city.
