The property is located in a perfect area. 10 min. Walk distance to the sea front, 10 min to the park area and grocery shops (Aldi , Sainsbury’s, Coop ecc.) are nearby. There is a 5 min walk to the main London street where are multiple clothing, tech and home shops. Also you can find lot’s of places to eat out from the McDonald’s, Nandos money range to different restaurant. The best is that if you have to travel there is a 5 min walk distance to the train station and to the bus stops. The property is pat’s friendly and there are numerous of events planned from our fabulous reception team for the tenants. The property is located in a busy area but there is no noise coming through as it’s a new building and have great noise isolation. Overall it’s a 10/10.

Please review your development:

The building have multiple facilities as kitchen common area where we can all get together for events and also you can use it as a quiet place to do your work. There is a cinema room where tenants can do karaoke night and dance parties. There is a private dinning room where you can also organise events. The gym is also great, small but you have everything you need to do a good workout and be comfortable at the same time. The best thing is the parcel delivery system they have in the building.. extremely secure and easy for the tenants. The reception team are extremely friendly and helpful in any aspect that you need, always happy and happy to help. They make lots of effort in organising different events for the tenants and keeping you up to date with any new information that could be in interest to you. There is the repear and maintenance team which are very friendly and efficient in their work and always ready to help you out!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If there is any problem that you may incunter while moving in or during your tenancy don’t be worried as the management team and tenants are all very friendly and happy to help.

Apartment is bright, fresh and has minimalistic style. it has good location that is close to all necessary places.

Please review your development:

Overall apartment and building are good. Building has 24/7 online services, parcel room, gym and so on. facilities are good but not the best. I would prefer induction hob and oven with pyrolysis. it will bring more quality in life. The quality of the wall covering in the bathroom is average. stains appear in the wall from any splashes of water.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We moved in fast and without problems. I liked process.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management is amazing. response was fast and all problems were solved in time.

Convenient place to live in Brighton

All inclusive complex. Almost all what is needed for daily life is available.
Improvement suggestion is to start the buildings with some levels of parking lot spaces.

Please review your development:

York & Elder is one of the best options to live in Brighton.
Main advantage is the easiness to arrive to a totally ready flat.
Improvement suggestion is storage in bedside tables and TV cabinet. A desk and a chest/dressing table would be very useful.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The bathroom didn’t have waterproof paint and it stains immediately and washes out.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

My main problem was the internet not working and it took 1 month to be solved. Faster response would have been nice.

Walking distance to most bars and restaurants. Great public transport connections too. Very lovely and great for young people

Please review your development:

We love the building itself. Excellent small gym and the flats are small but designed in a way that the space is well used. Everything is easy to clean and public areas are very lovely to spend time in. Roof terraces are amazing in the summer too. Great staff in the reception. Love all of you! Some of the maintenance team are very moody and make you feel like you’re better off not asking for help. Very difficult to get anything urgent fixed without having many people coming in to check the problem and explain the issue multiple times. Very difficult when you work from home and try to organise time between meetings and calls. Also never arrive on time or get things fixed within the time promised. Luckily we have not had too many issues! Other than that great!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That people outside of the building are also allowed to use the gym

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Reception are always great raising issues or giving answers but maintenance is a nightmare but it could just be our experience or bad luck
