A nice place to live

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Wellesbourne is very close to town where there's lots of shops and restaurants. Its proximity to fitness facilities (like yoga, personal training and sauna) is great. The park is right across the street which is perfect for a short walk in nature.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quite quickly to respond, within 1-2 days. So I have been very pleased with their response.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

No gyms within a 5-10min walk distance! I wish there was a gym nearby honestly

Good but room for improvement

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is excellent, easy access to a park and can quickly get into the city centre. There are a variety of quality restaurants nearby. There is no affordable local parking and we are unable to apply for a parking permit. Renting a parking space in the building is very expensive. I haven't experienced any antisocial behaviour, but my partner says she has been approached outside the building on a number of occasions.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have not needed to contact building management. Building maintenance response has been quick and work done to a high quality.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Council tax banding and the likelihood this would go up. That the gym and commercial areas had not been agreed with the council.

The area is amazing. I love living next to Preston Park (especially because of the outdoor gym). The train station and town isn't too far away and easy to walk in. There are plenty of shops and facilities nearby

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I haven't had any major issues but some small things raised have been dealt with promptly. The only major inconvenience has been the WiFi repeatedly cutting out for everyone in the whole building. We are told this is the suppliers fault and there isn't anything Wellesbourne can do. But the supplier provides WiFi for the whole building.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

A lot of us that moved in were under the impression a gym was being built which would have been amazing. But we have since been told this is not the case. Other than that (and the WiFi issues) I have received what was expected.

Great building, great staff and facilities,- poor management

Extremely convenient area, only a short walk to London road which is excellent. Useful bus links right on the doorstep and rail stations only a fifteen minute walk away. Very quiet area with a park right on the doorstep - great for dog walks!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Again, communication is relatively poor. I have had a couple of issues resolved by the on-staff maintainance man, who is very friendly and helpful, but clearly doing the job of many people by what seems to be himself! An ongoing issue with the bins is being more or less ignored.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish i had known how bad the heating is in the flat! One radiator for a relatively large studio that is placed next to the door is not optimal. Also they cost a lot to run! On the plus side though - the community of residents is great, and the little events that are organised by the front of house team are excellent!

Excellent location, it is within 1minute of bus stops that go out of town and into town. Local shops just a 7-8minute walk. Parking is expensive onsite and you cannot get a permit from the local council for nearby zones. Perhaps something that could have been done on a case by case scenario.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

All issues have been responded to and done in a timely manner.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The landlord was running incentives for new tenants. We were not made aware of this, it would have been good to know.
