Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Pomona Wharf is a great location for access into Manchester city centre while still feeling a bit more relaxed and residential. The main positive is the transport – Cornbrook tram stop is right next door, making it very easy to get into town, MediaCity and Trafford. There is a Tecco Express and COOP nearby and larger supermarkets within a short drive.,
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The management team are helpful and approachable. Maintenance issues are usually dealt with quickly and communication is good throughout. It feels like problems are taken seriously and the building is well looked after.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I’d realised how quiet it is compared to the city centre, which is actually a good surprise, and that most amenities are a short walk or tram ride away rather than right outside

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area is excellent, easy access to a park and can quickly get into the city centre. There are a variety of quality restaurants nearby. There is no affordable local parking and we are unable to apply for a parking permit. Renting a parking space in the building is very expensive. I haven't experienced any antisocial behaviour, but my partner says she has been approached outside the building on a number of occasions.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We have not needed to contact building management. Building maintenance response has been quick and work done to a high quality.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Council tax banding and the likelihood this would go up. That the gym and commercial areas had not been agreed with the council.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in Mercer West has been generally positive. The area has a good range of local shops and supermarkets, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafés within a short walk. Open spaces are well-kept and nice for walks. Transport links are convenient with frequent buses into the city, although they can get crowded at peak times. The street itself is usually quiet with decent parking availability, and bin collections are regular. There’s minimal anti-social behaviour, though occasional traffic noise can be heard during busy hours.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has generally been responsive and helpful, resolving issues efficiently and addressing concerns in a timely manner.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known that a new building is being constructed nearby, which can sometimes cause noise and limited views.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area is amazing. I love living next to Preston Park (especially because of the outdoor gym). The train station and town isn't too far away and easy to walk in. There are plenty of shops and facilities nearby
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I haven't had any major issues but some small things raised have been dealt with promptly. The only major inconvenience has been the WiFi repeatedly cutting out for everyone in the whole building. We are told this is the suppliers fault and there isn't anything Wellesbourne can do. But the supplier provides WiFi for the whole building.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
A lot of us that moved in were under the impression a gym was being built which would have been amazing. But we have since been told this is not the case. Other than that (and the WiFi issues) I have received what was expected.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area offers a good range of shops, restaurants, cafés, and convenience stores, making day-to-day living easy. Public transport links are reliable, with buses and nearby stations providing quick access to the city. The neighbourhood is generally quiet and feels safe, especially in the evenings. Parking is available but can become limited during busy hours. Bin collections are regular and well managed. While there is some occasional traffic noise, it is not disruptive. Overall, the area is comfortable, family-friendly, and provides everything needed within a short walking distance.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management has generally been responsive and helpful whenever an issue was raised. Most requests are acknowledged quickly, and maintenance is usually arranged within a reasonable timeframe. Their communication is clear, and they follow up when needed, which makes the overall service reliable.

Just I want them to open the eighth floor as soon as possible.
