Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Pomona Wharf is a great location for access into Manchester city centre while still feeling a bit more relaxed and residential. The main positive is the transport – Cornbrook tram stop is right next door, making it very easy to get into town, MediaCity and Trafford. There is a Tecco Express and COOP nearby and larger supermarkets within a short drive.,
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The management team are helpful and approachable. Maintenance issues are usually dealt with quickly and communication is good throughout. It feels like problems are taken seriously and the building is well looked after.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I’d realised how quiet it is compared to the city centre, which is actually a good surprise, and that most amenities are a short walk or tram ride away rather than right outside

Nice warm apartment, decent repairs/maintanence, but no amenities and rent increases at least 13% per year every year.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Positives: Pretty quiet area (when scrap yard isn't open). Not overlooked as my side of the building looks out over a stretch of barren land and two canals. Negatives: Noise pollution - get a lot of noise from the scrap yard and Tram stop, even when windows are fully closed. There isn't a big aldi or lidl close by, nearest food shop is at sainsbury (about a 10min walk away). Not a lot of cafes close by either, nearest would be in deansgate which is about a 15min walk away.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Usually respond within a few days and have a contractor out soon after.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Rent will just keep increasing, which sucks when you've been a tenant for a few years and every year your faced again with a rent increase.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Pomona Wharf is located on an island and there's a canal path on either side leading towards the city centre and media city. There are a variety of shops within walking distance such as Tesco Express, Co Op, Morrisons Daily and Sainsbury's. There is also a retail park nearby along with KFC and McDonalds. Pomona Wharf is a 7 minute walk from Cornbrook tram stop which is on the edge of Zone 1&2. There is a scrap yard nearby which does make a lot of noise if the windows and doors are open (they operate 6 days a week). The building is surrounded by other residential flats and has plans to expand in the next few years. There is a communal bin room on the ground floor which gets emptied once a week and private parking costing either £75 or £85 per month. The Internet is included in the rent however electricity, water and council tax are excluded.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
There's been issues with having maintenance fixing problems due to the last person leaving and not having a replacement. This has now been fixed so problems should be solved relatively quickly. The building management are slow to reply to issues and work Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm. There is also no security for the building.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The noise of the scrap yard The parking spaces are not allocated and there is no ANPR so unless someone is checking, anybody can park in the car park.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Very close to the centre of Manchester with some nice pubs and shops close by. Easy access to the trams and close to regent road for any shopping.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We had an issue with one of the bathrooms that was fixed within a few hours so I appreciate the good response time.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
In the summer a lot of bugs get in either through the windows or small gaps in the corners of the walls.
