East of England counties

Bedfordshire

Bedfordshire and the county town of Bedford sit on the eastern side of the East of England region. Its largest town is Luton and part of the Chiltern Hills area falls within the county, offering residents outstanding hiking locations.

Cambridgeshire

The city of Cambridge is the county town of Cambridgeshire, but Peterborough is also a major conurbation – although this now forms a separate unitary authority. Cambridge is best-known for its prestigious University and historic college buildings, which make up the majority of the city’s centre.

Essex

Located in the most southerly tip of the East of England region is Essex. This county includes the boroughs of Southend-on-Sea and Thurrock, and its county town is its only city – Chelmsford.

Hertfordshire

Located directly north of Greater London, the Home County of Hertfordshire includes parts of the Chiltern Hills. It also has, as a claim to fame, the fact that the first three Star Wars movies were made here – at Elstree Studios – and the county was also home to Stanley Kubrick, who also filmed at studios in the county.

Norfolk

The mostly rural county of Norfolk has Norwich as its county town, and forms the upper tip of the East of England region. Great Yarmouth, King’s Lynn and Thetford are the county’s other major urban centres.

Aldeburgh beach in Suffolk, East England

Suffolk

Directly below Norfolk, Suffolk has Ipswich as its county town. Its coastal towns and villages are popular with holidaymakers and the Broads to the north of the area also offer attractive landscapes for visitors to explore.

The cities located in the East of England are Cambridge, Norwich, Ely, Chelmsford and Peterborough. Major towns include Luton, Bedford and Basildon.

The place is right between the living part of the town which has all the fun and the utility part of the town which has the train station, tesco etc. Nowhere is far away basically. Also 3 mins away from my job. Couldnt ask for more.

Please review your development:

As soon as you walk in the house it feels like its designed to be convenient. There are many additional values that comes with the flat but the gym is a big plus. I was very happy to see it wasn’t neglected, you can call it a small but proper gym. Terrace is also very nice and i was suprised it’s being cleaned so frequently even in winter. Can’t wait for summer. The utility tools in the flat such as the dishwasher, fridge and washing machine are quality.

Conveniently placed and near to town and the station. Close to a selection of shops and coffee shops

Please review your development:

Overall very clean and presentable. It’s also very quiet with minimal noise in the area and from surrounding residents. Residents have been lovely and social. Clean and practice apartment layouts which are fully functional. Had a slight hiccup with the WiFi but was quickly resolved

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It would have been good to know pets require vaccinations and insurance earlier in the process. Being told after the tendency agreement was passed over was a minor hiccup.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very easy to contact and very helpful. Check-ins post move are a nice touch
