Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

New development so amazing in terms of park, parking. But bins are getting delayed to be delivered and likewise streetlights are not working yet which is not yet under council.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Overall, the building management team has been responsive and professional when issues have been reported. Several matters that I raised during and after moving into the property were acknowledged promptly, and support was provided to help resolve them. Communication has generally been good, and I have found the team willing to assist where needed. However, some issues have taken longer to resolve than others. For example, the street lighting within the development has remained an ongoing concern, and while the matter has been reported and investigated, a resolution has not yet been implemented. As with any new development, there are naturally a few teething issues, but I appreciate the efforts made by the management team to address concerns and keep residents informed. Overall, my experience has been positive, and I am hopeful that the remaining outstanding issues will be resolved in due course.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Not all homes are 0 electricity as batteries are not installed on every house

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Parking is an issue on the street where residents are parking in front of their homes rather than on the driveway. This has caused access issues to private parking spaces and also prevented the bin lorry accessing the street

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have had a couple of issues that needed to be addressed, and Natalie chased these with the central team and got them resolved. There was some delays in getting the work completed but no reflection on the local team

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I think clarity on parking and also the open spaces to the front of the property, are the grassed areas meant to be maintained by the property management company? As these are not getting cut

Manager response

Hi, thank you for your great feedback. We're really pleased to hear you're enjoying your home and that Natalie has been so supportive and responsive. We appreciate the points raised around parking and maintenance and will ensure these are reviewed with the team. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in this area has been a really positive experience overall. Parking on the street is generally manageable, although it can get busy during peak hours but I’m lucky as my home has driveway in front of the house. Bin collections are consistent, and the neighbourhood feels safe.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Move-in day was especially stressful, as the keys were not at the property as promised and I wasn’t given the correct instructions about where to collect them. Standing in the rain with a moving van and no access to the garage was incredibly frustrating. Fortunately, Ollie from Allsop stepped in and helped resolve the situation, which I genuinely appreciated. Since then, responses have been more consistent.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

On move-in day, things were a bit stressful: the keys fir the garage as the main front door was open via an app. The garage keys were not at the property as promised or any other keys, and I wasn’t given the correct instructions about where to find them. It was raining, I had a van booked for the move, and the whole situation caused unnecessary stress. Thankfully, Ollie from Allsop stepped in and helped sort everything out, which I genuinely appreciated. Since then, things have improved, but the initial experience was far from smooth.

Manager response

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re really pleased to hear that you’re enjoying the development overall and that the home and local area have been a positive fit for you. We’re sorry that your move-in experience was not as smooth as it should have been, particularly with the missing keys and unclear instructions on the day. We understand how stressful that must have been, especially in bad weather and with a van waiting. We’re glad Ollie was able to step in quickly and support you, and we appreciate your acknowledgement of his help. Your comments regarding communication and responsiveness are noted, and we’ll use this feedback to continue improving our service. We’re pleased that things have been more consistent since you moved in, and we’ll keep working to ensure they stay that way. Thank you again for your review and for recommending us. If you need anything at all, our team is always here to help.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Bad- kids launch rockets every night having the VP parking lot in front of my door takes away any privacy I may have should get decorative stones when there is grass and dead plants there is no gym or any leisure facilities my driveway is sagging, I hope it doesn't flood in the winter The gentlemen who collect the garbage are completely rude, they throw the buckets on the floor and don't take any care when moving them. traffic during school bridge hours is regrettable, there is no control to facilitate passage

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Whenever we have any questions, the property manager is always available to answer us

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would like to know how the tenant selection went, being a new area, I expected more silence, I would have liked to have seen solutions for the driveway and my garden

Manager response

We’re very sorry to hear about some of the issues you’ve experienced; we completely understand how important these factors are in making your home comfortable.
