Excellent place to stay at

Nothing bad about this beautiful place. I enjoyed every minute staying at The Wullcomb. Very convenient as it is in city centre and walking distance from everything. Leicester train station is nearby and access to all busses is perfect.

Please review your development:

My stay at the Wullcomb is sadly coming to an end as I am moving to another city for work. It’s sad because I never thought of leaving this place. They allow pets first of all and my two cats enjoyed indoor life as they felt safe. Maintenance in the communal areas and inside the flats is impeccable. They do routine inspections and checks for everything (fire doors, electric heaters, plumbing, electrical) without you even asking for it. If something breaks down they are one phone call away and they always answer you. You come late night or early mornings the concierge is always there and they help you with anything you ask them. It’s a clean building and the lifts are fast. All in all, I couldn’t have a better experience living anywhere else. Thank you for all your support and hospitality.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew how quiet the flats are before moving in. Luckily my flat is overseeing the courtyard which is a super quiet area, but on the other side of the building there’s a busy road (Vaughan Way), during the summer if you open the window it gets quite noisy outside. The flats are super sound-proofed by the way.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Always on time. There are barely any issues as they do routine inspections and maintenance while you are at work. They always ask if they can come in while you’re away and they knock on the door first. I always ask the engineers to mind the cats and they were very lovely and kind with them.

Great location in terms of access to shops and city centre,

Close to city centre which helps but loud on weekends with drunk people and garbage services, especially if you have kids

Please review your development:

Great location in terms of access to shops and city centre, however too loud at night. Building has pool sauna and common area where you can stay and work if you work remotely. Flat itself is super energy inefficient, heating doesn’t do the job at all during winter yet takes up a lot of charge

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Current flat is super energy inefficient, especially during winters

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Repairs have been done quickly and promptly without any issues

The different designs of homes gives a feel of a village rather than a housing estate

Review Date Feb 2024

There are no shops or amenities yet my street is in early development but the street scene is really attractive with very little traffic noise

Please review your development:

The different designs of homes gives a feel of a village rather than a housing estate full of the same homes. The on-site team of Scott the site manager and Amber the sales manager could not be more helpful professional and accommodating
And a credit to the company.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I should have asked when the building work would be completed around me so I would have been more prepared for all the construction traffic parking outside my house

What is the best feature of your home:

The Quality of build is excellent. The efficiency of the heating system the room sizes for a semi detached home and total standard of the build

City centre living with the wow factor

Review Date Feb 2024

The location is great. Opposite John Lewis and the Highcross shopping centre. Just across the road are several restaurants, cafes , offering diverse cuisines and a cinema.
On site parking and a coffee shop downstairs are extremely convenient. Despite being on the main road, it is very quiet , hard to believe it when indoors. The proximity to the city centre is an advantage. There are 2 parks nearby and it’s close to the Guildhall, Cathedral and the historic heart of Leicester.
The bus station is within easy walking distance and the train station is less than a mile away, with regular, fast services to London.

Please review your development:

It’s a very attractive building with well appointed, luxury flats, which are spacious and fitted with high end appliances. Decorated with neutral colours and stylish extras.
There are many communal areas, with a modern , very stylish design and a super roof terrace with fabulous views over the Leicestershire countryside and a barbecue.
There’s a 24 hour concierge and the staff are extremely helpful, professional and friendly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I was shown round on 3 occasions and all my questions were answered

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I haven’t come across any problems yet. As I only moved in last week
