Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I genuinely love this local area. It is a really nice place to live with great surroundings and an incredibly convenient setup. The range and quality of amenities are a major plus—there are lots of great shops nearby, and the city centre is easily accessible, meaning restaurants, bars, and entertainment are never far away. The location is perfect for work due to the transport links, which are frequent and reliable, making my commute straightforward. Living on my street has been pleasant and quiet. Bin collections are always on time, and I haven't experienced any issues with anti-social behaviour. Parking is generally manageable. Overall, the area combines the benefits of having a peaceful residential base with the massive convenience of having the city and great transport links right on the doorstep.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Promptly, attempting to solve them immediately where possible.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The sheer amount of community events hosted here; if you want to try something new or meet new people, at one point on any week - there will be an event for you to go to in the foyer.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The building is a close walk to grocery stores, shops, cafes, cinema, etc. I enjoy being able to get around on foot and get my everyday things done. There's never really any traffic noise that I hear.

Nice place to live (if you have earplugs!) , poor value for money

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good: Well maintained common area downstairs, good co working space, spacious flats with good storage, good location, good proximity to shops. Bad: LOTS of antisocial behaviour from student buildings next door. Loud parties until the early hours of the morning, students taking nitrous oxide in the street and leaving rubbish everywhere. Not much parking in the building or outside of it. Often there are lots of cars double parked along double yellow lines and on the pavements. There have been issues with teenagers getting into the building and vandalising the building.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The onsite building management have always responded to any issues promptly and I have never had a problem with them. They have always been a lovely team who try to get things sorted as quickly as possible. They have always made attempts to make everyone in the building feel welcome.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish that I had known how bad the noise and anti-social behaviour would be from the nearby student building. I never would have moved in if I had known that I would consistently get a poor, interrupted sleep for at least 3-4 nights of the week (currently it is every single day!)

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Leicester is very suitable for living and Arches definitely has the advantage of excellent location. Will have some noises with windows open(party students on the next building) but not too much a problem.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Maintenance issues sometimes solved quickly but major issues like electricity meters not fixed and caused prolonged problems

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Be aware that the staff are all very nice(they tried their best) but because of the whole management structure and frequent change of the landlord companies it will be a headache to get the deposit back.
