Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It’s a great location , near it are many local grocery stores and a train station which makes life so much easier, there’s a railway right next to the building but the buildings windows are double glazed so you don’t really hear the trains much

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, and they reply as quick as they can too.they usually do a maintenance check for the building and every floor has a specific date

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish there were easier access for deliveries and drop off cars

Modern Living with Great Facilities

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in the North Acton area is generally very pleasant, as it’s a quiet neighbourhood with a lot of students around. There aren’t many local shops yet, but it’s conveniently close to Asda and Westfield for anything you need. Transport links are good, although sometimes there are people drinking outside the station. Parking is limited on most streets, but bin collections are reliable and the area overall feels safe with only occasional minor disturbances.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has always been quick to respond, easy to contact and very efficient. Issues can be booked easily and are usually resolved fast, with on-site maintenance available whenever needed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is that some of the amenities weren’t fully ready at the start, although everything is now working well. I’d also mention that there aren’t many shops nearby yet, but there’s a lot of development planned, so it feels promising. Another thing to be aware of is the HS2 construction next door, which can be noticeable at times (but will be a good addition to Acton).

That it was affordable housing and the service charge would go up for more than double in the space of 5 years.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area around Uncle Acton offers a great mix of local shops, cafés, and restaurants, with several supermarkets and takeaways within walking distance. There are also plenty of green spaces nearby, including Acton Park and Gunnersbury Park, ideal for outdoor walks and exercise. Transport links are excellent — Acton Main Line and North Acton stations are both close, providing easy access to Central London and Heathrow. Buses are frequent, although traffic can be heavy during rush hours. The street itself is generally quiet and safe, with good parking availability and reliable bin collections.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building was great in sorting out a dishwasher issue for us, the repair man came, though it took a while.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Bills are quit pricy when you add things up, given council tax band, but all in all great place.
