Excellent Living Experience at Riverstone

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living here is very convenient with excellent transport links and a nearby metro station, making commuting easy. There is a huge Tesco open daily until midnight, which is perfect for shopping. The community also has a public reading room that is cozy and comfortable. Additionally, the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I really love all the building managers here! My favorites are Saad and Helga, both of whom are incredibly welcoming. This is my first time living in a co-living apartment, so I had many questions, and Saad was always patient and helpful. Since I’m Chinese, he would even say the Chinese words he knows to make me laugh when I felt nervous. Helga greets me with so much warmth every time we meet, which makes me feel genuinely happy. I truly appreciate them!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Honestly, so far I’m very happy living here. The only thing I wish I had known earlier is how convenient it is—I can get direct access to three train stations, which makes it super easy to reach London’s stations and is perfect for someone like me who loves to travel!

Convenient Location and Pleasant Living Environment

Hank (Tenant)

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is generally very convenient and pleasant to live in. There is a good range of supermarkets, small shops, cafes and restaurants nearby, so day-to-day life is easy. Public transport links are also strong, with bus stops and train stations within a reasonable distance, making it convenient to travel to work or into the city centre. There are also some open spaces and parks nearby, which is a positive for walking and relaxing. On the downside, parking can sometimes be difficult, especially in the evenings or at weekends. Traffic noise can also be noticeable during busy hours, and at times the street can feel crowded. Bin collections are usually reliable, although there are occasional issues with rubbish being left outside for too long. Overall, it is a well-connected and practical area to live in, despite some minor inconveniences.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has generally responded in a professional and polite way when issues have been raised. While some matters can take a little longer than expected to resolve, communication is usually clear and staff are helpful. I especially appreciate Saad at the front desk, who is very responsible and always tries to assist residents promptly. He is friendly, reliable and takes concerns seriously, which has made a positive difference whenever support has been needed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is that, although the development is convenient and generally well managed, response times for some maintenance or management matters can occasionally be slower than expected. It is also helpful to understand parking arrangements, busy periods, and general building procedures in advance, as these are not always obvious during a viewing. That said, the overall living experience has been good, and having helpful staff members such as Saad at the front desk has made settling in much easier.

Manager response

i Atanas, Thank you very much for your kind review. We’re delighted to hear that you’re enjoying the apartment, the views, and the community spaces. It’s great to know that the design and facilities are supporting both relaxation and work. We also appreciate your feedback on the local area—being close to green spaces and amenities is something many residents value, especially for dog owners. Thank you as well for your kind words about the team. I’ll be sure to pass your feedback on to Helga—she’ll be very happy to hear that she and Rocky made such a positive impression! If there’s ever anything we can assist you with, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Kind regards, Darek

Alma for the win!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

My wife and I love living in the Alma in Aldgate. Commuting from here is incredibly easy with tube stops at Aldgate East, Aldgate, and Liverpool not far away. There are so many great, affordable restaurants nearby as well that we can easily walk to on Commercial St and Brick Ln. Great pubs as well, the Culpeper and the Buxton are our favorites.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They are always responsive and do their best to address any issues that we’ve had right away.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Large Sainsburys, Waitrose, and Iceland supermarkets are all within easy walking distance from the Alma. Getting to Heathrow is super easy - from Aldgate East take the District line east to Whitechapel, then change to the Elizabeth line and head west to Heathrow. Usually takes about an hour.
