Great location, but unacceptable property management

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Wood Wharf and Canary Wharf are very convenient places to live. Transport is excellent, with the Elizabeth line, Jubilee line and DLR within easy reach, and there is a good selection of supermarkets, restaurants, cafés and riverside public spaces nearby. The area generally feels clean, modern and well maintained. The main downsides are the continuing construction in parts of Wood Wharf, occasional noise from works and service vehicles, relatively high prices, and the fact that the area can feel rather corporate and quiet outside working hours. Overall, however, the location itself was one of the strongest aspects of living at 10 Park Drive.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known how fragmented and slow the management structure could be when something went wrong. During my tenancy, responsibility for problems was often passed between the letting agent, concierge, building management and external contractors. Issues that should have been straightforward could take weeks or even months to resolve. Most importantly, I would also have wanted to understand exactly how the concierge handles residents’ property and parcels. At the end of my tenancy, a parcel I had personally left with concierge for a Royal Mail collection was opened, inspected and disposed of without my permission. The subsequent response from management left me with very little confidence in the accountability behind what is marketed as a premium residential service.
What is the best feature of your home:
The apartment itself was the strongest part of the experience. The views were excellent, there was plenty of natural light, and the location in Wood Wharf was extremely convenient. Being within easy walking distance of Canary Wharf, the Elizabeth line, Jubilee line, restaurants, shops and the waterside made everyday life very convenient. It is a shame that such an attractive apartment and location were let down by the standard of management and service.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Canary Wharf is a convenient and pleasant area to live in, with excellent transport links, plenty of restaurants, shops and supermarkets, and well-maintained public spaces.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known how poorly serious issues involving residents’ property could be handled by the concierge and management. The building and location are great, but my experience has left me with very little confidence in the management and concierge service.
What is the best feature of your home:
Excellent location, great views and convenient access to Canary Wharf, with good transport links, restaurants, shops and facilities nearby.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The building is located conveniently, close to either the DLR line or the Canary Wharf tube station. Great food around and very easy for pets with the local access to green space for the dogs.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I have not had any issues or problems, and through the leasing process, if there was any questions I had, they responded quickly and promptly. Very professional and great service.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
In a positive way, I did not realize the total package this building had to offer. I only have since realized since moving in how nice it is to have a secure package room and community online app.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Good aspects: - Close to the city of London, so very commutable by bike. - 5 min walk from the central line and 10 min walk from the District line. - Large Sainsbury’s 7 mins away and plenty of independent grocers on Roman Rd. - 15 mins walk from Victoria pk, ideal for running/weekend walks. Bad aspects: - Directly opposite a train line, so kicks up dust into the flat and constant noise - No shortage of degenerates on Bethnal Green rd at all times - Close to Whitechapel, which isn’t great.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I feel the sense of urgency could be better. For example when the BBQ broke.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It takes a while for the team to procure anything e.g fitness bike, new pool cues etc

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area is quite safe and there are enough cafés and nice places to discover, and I plenty of parks nearby. I find this place nice to live in.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, and they always try to respond quickly. Very nice team.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I didn’t know this place was so well protected from the sound of the trains. The walls and windows are super modern and stop the sound from the outside. At first when I saw the location, I thought we would hear the sound of the trains from the flats but in reality, you can’t hear anything because everything is super modern.
