I love the flat and the overall development

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in my local area is great overall. There’s a good range of shops, restaurants, and bars nearby, along with well-kept open spaces. Transport links are convenient and reliable, making it easy to get around. The building itself has bin chutes, which are very convenient, but the council-provided external bins are often overflowing. I don’t park here, so I can’t comment on parking availability. Aside from that, the street is generally quiet, and there are no notable issues with anti-social behaviour or traffic noise.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management have responded well to any issues raised, communicating clearly and resolving problems promptly and professionally.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If you work in the city - it is a huge quality of life improvement to be able to walk to work!

Convenient location, close to Aldgate and Aldgate East stations and with amenities ans shops located nearby.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We haven't had realm problems living here, but the couple of minor issues we had were dealt promptly and efficiently.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

N/A Nothing particular comes to mind. As more People have moved in, the gym is gettin more difficult to access, but that was to be expected

The area is spot on. There are two excellent restaurants next door/opposite and many more within a 2 minute walk. The close proximity of Shoreditch, Brick Lane and the City make Aldgate more than just convenient.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

If anything needs fixing, it gets sorted fast, sometimes within the hour(!) Olivia is extremely proactive and Tomas puts his heart and soul into making the place an incredible place to live.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The winter garden makes a perfect office, and comes with a great view.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We chose this location in order to stay close to our previous neighbourhood and to continue our established daily routine, particularly around school runs. The area offers a good range of local shops, cafés and restaurants, and being close to Aldgate East station is very convenient for transport links, although it is disappointing that the station is not fully accessible. While the street is well connected and practical for day-to-day living, the level of activity and footfall can sometimes feel overwhelming.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management has generally been quick to respond and attend when issues are raised, which we appreciate. They came promptly to assess the shower problem; however, the issue has not yet been fully resolved as it appears the shower would need to be replaced rather than repaired. When the shower is not used for a period of time it can develop an unpleasant smell and it also does not drain properly, so we currently avoid using it and rely on the bath instead. While the initial response was good, a permanent solution would be very welcome.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Something we would have liked to know in advance is that deliveries are generally not allowed to come directly to the apartment door unless they are food shopping deliveries. The parcel system is more complex than expected, and we have experienced some difficulties with returns, particularly when items are collected without labels, as couriers are unable to be directed straight to the door to collect them. In addition, residents do not have direct access to the bins, as waste is handled via reception when it is not done in the bin chute. While this is managed for you, it does feel slightly rude to give your bin out like that.
