Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very newly and modernly furnished. Bad thing is a little bit noisy and not much unique design inside the apartment. It is very good but not premium.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very fast, usually within 1-2days, and very kind and proactively solve the issues

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We need to pay for heating fee. Normally we only need to pay for water and electricity. But in this building we need to pay for heating, despite of in summer, we still need to pay 60 pounds in terms of heating energy.

Modern, Secure Living in a Vibrant Shoreditch Location

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There’s a good range of cafés, bars and restaurants within walking distance, and several lovely parks nearby which are great for relaxing or going on walks. There are tube (Overground, Northern Line) and bus (right in front of building) links nearby which make getting around easy. The street & those surrounding are mostly quiet and friendly. Overall, it’s a convenient and comfortable place to live in London.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management is generally responsive and helpful, addressing issues promptly and keeping residents informed throughout the process. They communicate clearly and work efficiently to resolve problems, making living here much more comfortable.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Some areas of the building may have weak mobile reception or inconsistent Wi-Fi depending on the provider.

Balfron Tower is a lovely place to live!

Balfron Tower, E14

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living at Balfron Tower has been lovely this far. The building is quiet, the neighborhood feels safe, and transport is very good. There are great buses nearby, along with Canning Town station and Canary Wharf, where you can catch most trains. The dlr is also close, with the Blackwall and All Saints locations closest. We are across the street from Aberfeldy Village, which has some cute cafes and shops. An idea store and community center are with a 7 minute walking distance too. The traffic is a little loud sometimes with lots of sirens and noise from the nearby schools. People in the area tend to be friendly. And bin collections are very simple for the building.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have only loved here a short time, so we havent come up to any issues yet really. The staff has been helpful showing us how certain things in the apartment work, such as the laundry machine and alarm systems.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

American friends, there is no AC. There is a vent system in the bedrooms which if it stays on, (which ours often doesnt) allows air from outside to flow in. But in the summer it hasnt done anything to help cool the place down. You’ll want to open your windows and be on the balcony as much as possible, and get lots of fans!

Manager response

Hi Shelby Thank you for taking your time to leave a positive review. Its great to see you are enjoying the building and its design. Please do approach any of the on-site team should you have any queries.
