Disappointing Living at Teddington Riverside

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Teddington is a lovely area to live in with most amenities nearby. Street parking is very limited and the noise from police cars goes on 24 hours. Planes fly overhead on some days and nights and the very noisy army helicopters fly directly overhead 3 or 4 times a day.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Buyer Beware! You will be in for a lot of problems and you won't get much help from the people that took your money.

What is the best feature of your home:

The view of the river and the location near the Thames.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is decent especially for the transport but be mindful that the development sits on top of the train station. It's noiseless for us because of the apartment we are in.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Not ideal to reside in the summer and very low cleaning standards. We've made friends with others, which is fine, but they're having similar issues with the building.

What is the best feature of your home:

Absolutely nothing and cannot wait until we can leave.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is reasonable, but you need to be particularly careful about the development. Just find somewhere else.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That it is absolutely NOT worth the cost. Very low-brow.

What is the best feature of your home:

Nothing: absolutely nothing is redeemable. It is a deep regret that I wish someone had warned me about.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Positives are the riverside location & proximity to high street. Lovely gardens. The sound of the water is loud but it’s personal preference whether you like that or not.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We (alongside many other residents in Haymarket House) have also had ongoing noise problems with strange banging sounds. They have caused us great disturbance. After months of investigation the management company believes it is issues with pipework but honestly they don’t have any solutions.

What is the best feature of your home:

Very convenient, especially having a lift, and the concierge is brilliant.

Gorgeous location and flats, let down by Campion management agents

Leo (Tenant)

Teddington Riverside, TW11

Dec 2021

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very expensive flats and the location is worth it but some deep flaws in the estate agent management by Campions lettings

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Not effectively. Quick to apologies but slow and inefficient action

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The light pollution and noise from the sports club next door
