Wonderful home

I absolutely love living here. The team are so great, the location is perfect and it just absolutely feels like home. The apartment is really well designed, the furniture is well suited and I love having a balcony. I really couldn’t recommend Whitmore Collection enough.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The Jewellery Quarter is a fantastic place to love- loads of bars and restaurants but a really lovely village feel. St Paul’s provides lovely green space too. Easy proximity for city centre amenities too. Just perfect!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes within hours! It’s incredibly rare that I’ve had issues but they are always promptly resolved.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Make use of the resident spaces- the lounge is brilliant

A fantastic place to live

Fantastic complex with next-level amenities in the working space and meeting room which I used once a month for business activities where privacy and focus was required - for just £20 per day. Aesthetic apartment and the location is perfectly situated.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This location of the Jewellery Quarter means being a very short walk away from the centre of JQ, but also an equally short walk away from the city centre, and the canals. Like anywhere in Birmingham, it can present itself as unsafe on a select few occasions, but that is not specific to this area.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Promptly. Front of House phone number was answered first time, pretty much every time I phoned.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Small issue, but the chairs in the co-working space (breakfast bar set up) are pretty uncomfortable on the lower back. I had to use a pillow.

Excellent Calm Yet Vibrant City Centre Living

Jul 2024

The trio of buildings that form Whitmore Collection are well-situated and thoughtfully designed. Amenities are very good, though the gym could have better facilities and more varied equipment, and some normal desks would be welcome in the Clubhouse for those who work from home. The private dining room is an excellent facility to have and the car park is spacious and well-maintained. Our flat is lovely and full of character, though others in the collection were more generic when we viewed them, so there is something to suit everyone. The reception and management staff are all really friendly and knowledgeable, though sometimes agency cover on the front desk aren't very aware of how things work. We haven't had any issues with noise despite the central location and are incredibly happy in our new home.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The Whitmore Collection is a well-situated development that is both private and peaceful while being perfectly situated for access to the city centre, Jewellery Quarter, and transport links. There are several nearby cafes and restaurants, as well as small shops and the high street. Under-building parking is very convenient and the canal runs right next to the buildings.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

For every maintenance/property issue that we have raised, management have been incredibly responsive and reasonable, setting clear timelines about when and how the issue would be resolved.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how hard it would be for delivery drivers to find us!

All good

For me, its the location and receptionist Penny who has been very very helpful and prompt assistance with my requests. All the maintenance requests are done promptly and issues are taking care of quite promptly. Having concierge is nice as I don’t need to worried about missing my parcel whilst away from home.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Close to my office, walkable distance. City center, just 10 minutes walk. Co-op underneath: convenient.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes very promptly! Except the sales team, they take a while.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Please check ur room location cause mine is noisy around 6 am due to co-op loading and unloading replenishment everyday

Everything is pretty modern and designed well

Saif (Tenant)

Everything is pretty modern and designed well. The only thing that might need upgrading in the future are the blinds as the chain can break easily. The management are very efficient and responsive to any issues the residents have and provide great social events for residents. The staff are very kind and make the residents feel at home.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The only bad aspect is the anti-social behaviour outside the building at night or during the day by the canal. The building can’t control this however. Everything else is perfect in terms of staff, neighbours and the building itself. 24/7 concierge is amazing and very useful too

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very fast within the day and have looked after me very well during my time here with 0 complaints.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing bad to note, WiFi is included in the rent which is awesome. For living in the city centre this is probably the best place to live and I wouldn’t move anywhere else.
