Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Feel that Pitsford Street is the heart of the Jewellery Quarter - very accessible to rail connections at New St vis the Metro and Moor St / Snow Hill via train, and Smethwick is another useful rail interchange from JQ. Plenty of green spaces on the doorstop and independent local cafes, restaurants and businesses. Street is busy and well lit / feels safe.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They were really flexible in agreeing to move a bed so I could wfh (I have a 2 bed single occupancy furnished apartment). My previous landlord of over ten years couldn’t sort this for me. Here, it was agreed and done.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known about the limitations in terms of online deliveries. I appreciate security is important but I do find a quid pro quo of living in a ‘professionally managed’ block is it is very process driven and I feel that can be both a good thing and a bad thing.

A fantastic place to call home in the Jewellery Quarter

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The Jewellery Quarter is a fantastic place to live. There is a great selection of independent cafés, restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance, and Birmingham city centre is also very easy to reach. Transport links are excellent, with the tram, train station and bus routes nearby. Despite being so central, the area has a real neighbourhood feel and plenty of character. It can naturally get busier and noisier at peak times and on weekends, and parking can sometimes be limited, but overall the convenience, atmosphere and location far outweigh these minor drawbacks.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes. They are very swift with responding to issues raised

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It would be really nice if the gym had better equipments e.g a walking pad, leg press machine, and a lat pull down with row machine so we can workout indoors especially in winter
