Royal Victoria Residence is a development by the City and Docklands Property Group in the Royal Docks. The development offers a selection of two and three-bedroom apartments. The Royal Docks are already on the DLR network as well as the Underground’s Jubilee line and London City Airport retains a central position on the docks making this a key area for London’s international workers.

I really like the apartment – it’s great. Its comfortable, pretty spacious and attractive. One big downside is that the surface around the sink in the bathroom is made of wood and this is very inconvenient as I constantly have to dry it to stop it getting damaged. The building management are good.
There is underfloor heating but it did not work during the winter so I had to buy heaters.

We were told that the apartment would be fully furnished (including curtains) but it was not and this was disappointing.

Lovely area and apartment
The apartment is really great – modern, good quality and attractive. It’s also really spacious and this is what really swayed me – I looked at lots of other apartments but this one definitely had the most space.
The best feature of my home is the balcony – it’s really big and there is an amazing view across the river and surrounding area

Great location and apartment
I really like the apartment – it’s good quality and spacious. We have not had many issues but there was a problem with the ventilation at one point and the building management were quick to resolve the issue. It’s a family friendly place to live which is great.
It would be great if there was a gym included in the development.

Great transport links via DLR
I’m happy with the apartment – it’s good quality and attractive. However there are a few niggles/ design flaws such as the fact that the light for the bathroom is behind the door (this gets very irritating!). There are also a lot of bugs and flies that come in despite the fact that I’m on a high floor. It can be quite noisy due to City Airport but this isn’t a huge issue.
I chose this development for the convenience- it’s really close to the DLR and I can get to London Bridge easily for work.

Tower Gateay in Royal Victoria is a good place to live.
My development is good, one of the lifts break quite often, which is annoying as it takes longer to catch the lift. It doesn’t have a gym or facilities, but it has a 24hr concierge which is useful, the building is new and I quite enjoy it, it also has a great view.

I love the Royal Victoria area, DLR station is nearby, it has a great view of the docks, there’s a range of restaurants, it has most things I need. The only thing missing is a pharmacy, the rest is great, I feel safe and enjoy living here.

There’s plenty to discover around here, so walk to Royal wharf and explore the docks.
What is the best feature of your home:
Great balcony, quite spacious, New apartment I’ve been the first tenant, so it’s clean and brand new.
Hate my apartment- too small
The apartment is average quality but I hate it because it is so small – I am moving out soon. The building management are ok – I have not had much contact with them. There is a gym and pool included which are both OK.

Nice apartment but a bit small
I really like the apartment – it’s good quality and looks nice but it’s pretty small. The residence us nice and quiet though and the security is good. On the downside we often have problems with the internet which can be annoying.
It would be great if there was a gym included in the development.

Green area and great apartment
Really like the apartment – it’s new, modern and spacious. Everything works well. In the downside it can get very noisy if you have the windows open because of the DLR and City Airport but you do get used to it and the noise stops during the night. Overall though it’s a really nice place to live.
It would be great to have a gym, especially as there are not many gyms in this area in general.

Love the apartment and location
The apartment is really nice – it’s new, modern, clean, good quality and spacious. The security on the building us good and it’s a safe area anyway. The concierge service us great. One bad thing is that my apartment is on the ground floor and there is a tank blocking the view from my window.
The building management been really good at responding- quick and efficient.
