Its comfortable, pretty spacious and attractive.

I really like the apartment – it’s great. Its comfortable, pretty spacious and attractive. One big downside is that the surface around the sink in the bathroom is made of wood and this is very inconvenient as I constantly have to dry it to stop it getting damaged. The building management are good.

There is underfloor heating but it did not work during the winter so I had to buy heaters.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I really like the area – it’s fantastic and very convenient- there is a nursery, tesco and lots of other amenities nearby

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We were told that the apartment would be fully furnished (including curtains) but it was not and this was disappointing.

Are there any facilities you would like added, or that you have but do not use:

There is underfloor heating but it did not work during the winter so I had to buy heaters.

Terrible Management

The design is flawed – last summer the sewage drain that joins into the main Commercial Road sewage blocked. There was a terrible smell for days and, in the following months, those of us on the ground floor have significant mould growth. The building management’s response was to put in industrial sized dehumidifiers that over heated the flat and didn’t seem to be effective. The day concierge throughout this uninhabitable situation did nothing proactive to try and resolve the situation. He planned a Christmas party and put in some furniture into the lobby instead. He said that the blockage wouldn’t happen again as he set himself a reminder to book in Thames Water each year to unblock it…
Safe to say, what were lovely flats have been ruined and the management company are very much to blame for this.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The area is ideal – big Lidl and a Tesco. A lovely pub too.
Being by the canal is great too.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the sewage drainage hadn’t been installed correctly.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

Get rid of the day concierge and the management company. Employ a competent building manager.

Great transport links via DLR

I’m happy with the apartment – it’s good quality and attractive. However there are a few niggles/ design flaws such as the fact that the light for the bathroom is behind the door (this gets very irritating!). There are also a lot of bugs and flies that come in despite the fact that I’m on a high floor. It can be quite noisy due to City Airport but this isn’t a huge issue.

I chose this development for the convenience- it’s really close to the DLR and I can get to London Bridge easily for work.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I like that it’s close to the DLR and nice and quiet. I don’t like that there is not a big supermarket nearby.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known that there wasn’t a gym and that there weren’t great gyms nearby

Why did you choose this development:

For the convenience- it’s really close to the DLR and I can get to London Bridge easily for work

Lovely area and apartment

The apartment is really great – modern, good quality and attractive. It’s also really spacious and this is what really swayed me – I looked at lots of other apartments but this one definitely had the most space.

The best feature of my home is the balcony – it’s really big and there is an amazing view across the river and surrounding area

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I really like the area – its quiet, green, there’s a lovely promenade along the river and it’s nice and residential. The surroundings are really great. I don’t like that it’s so far from central London though.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I knew that there would not be a gym but it would be great if there was one
