We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

Stratford’s multi-dimensional Prospect East is part of a large-scale regeneration project with both LCR and East Thames Group at the helm. The development is between the junctions of Leyton Road and Liberty Bridge Road, and made up of one, two, three and four-bedroom homes – apartments and houses, lots with balconies or terraces. Commercial space and green community areas are also set aside here. Local places of interest include Westfield Stratford City, the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Stratford International.

The development is fairly new (6 years old), it's just very bad managed. Lifts are always out of order, communal areas are damaged by people passing by and delivery trucks. It's very difficult to speak to L&Q and get things sorted. 6 years after building there are also commercial spaces still empty. It's a decent development but could definitely have overall improvements in all areas

I have lived here at prospect east since October 2016 and seen first hand the improvements to the development itself and surrounding area. Lots of bonuses living here with coffee shops, restaurants & parks, as well as a brand new gym coming to the Units which will be great. The whole area is changing and the vibe improves each month.

Very handy for transport connections (National Rail, DLR and Tube) particularly if you work in Canary Wharf or the City. Like the apartments - good value for money as a bit cheaper compared to E20 proper. If you can get a flat on one of the higher floors then bonus. Developer can be quite slow with fixing things and takes a lot of chasing. Huge source of frustration with residents.

Poorly built with lots of things needing fixing when we moved in, since then numerous other things have broken leading us to request maintenance to attend. Nice area with lots of nice restaurants nearby. Loads of events and a great community spirit
